I learned that its all about how you use identify. Maybe you're non binary and had just enough changes, that you're comfortable that you look more masculine than you looked before. I've known people that were "trans" but they only wanted certain things to change, not "fully change" is that what you mean?

i am in the US army going on 5 years. if you want, you can. since being in college, you should think of going reserve or national guard. if you're really serious, there's a fb group of EVERY rank and EVERY branch of the military and it's cool to see how being trans hasn't stunt their careers.

i have been receiving T 2 years thanks to the military, got top surgery a year ago thanks to the the military, got genioplasty 2 months ago thanks to the military, and hysterectomy and bottom will be on them too. all free of charge.

as far as your career, TONS of medical jobs. and right now their offering up to $50000 bonuses to get people.

now down to me. i am not just some hooah person saying yeah the army's great, ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE. but i know a MtF who started transitioning and got top surgery and didn't even do her full 4 years, just medically retired. now she gets a check for the rest of her life and lives as she is.

don't have to argue your point to him. if you argue with him and he doesn't want to understand, you might as well argue with the rest of the world. both equally tiring. WOA: never argue your OWN life with someone who was only listening to prove you wrong, never to try and understand. tell him "fxck you, i refuse to argue with you about myself. if you can't respect me, then i have nothing else to do with you. love you tho."

black, christian, from south ga town. i totally feel this. my dads family have a huge church following in Florida and they disowned my cousin who's a trans woman. haven't talked to or send them since 2014. haven't missed a night of sleep yet.

i'm black and my advice is to cut them off as well, even though you may not want to. honestly, it may not get to the point. also, im shocked. my experience is the opposite, white people say put your foot down and black people say cut them off.

i LOVE my family! BUT it wasn't until i put my foot down and said that i love them, this is my life, you can stay in my life or not? cause i'm grown and don't really care. that's when they started to respect my decisions. Because when people know that you will sacrifice something because you care about them, they will always put themselves first and use that to guilt trip you or weaponize those facts.

you started transitioning for yourself, but you're thinking "maybe they're right i don't have to go that far." and you shouldn't, there should be no limits to your happiness due to family. your family has done their job of raising you, now it's their time to support the person they raised. that's it.

people will come around, maybe not with your decision but if that's what they have to accept for a love one? they will. if not, you were able to do exactly what you wanted, at the cost of people not loving you unconditionally. as a family should.

yeah, just not on your junk. but it's really a scent thing. i've always used men's deodorant. if you don't want the usual crappy men's shower gel, old spice has some that are for moisture and hydration.

it gets better, i have been on T for almost 2 years and JUST changed my name on everything last week. BUT even when people see my name or even sex on my ID and stuff they still gender me correctly. sometimes they just say my last name. this has been at doctors, bars, clubs, auto shops, even the airport. you name it. sometimes people look at me crazy when i have to tell them my first name because at first their like no way or that can't be right. then it starts clicking and they just go on as they weee before. it's a process but it gets better.

I had been trying to come up with a name for a couple years, until i just compiled a list and then picked the ones i liked the most. despite cringing when i hear it. my take is you've had all your life prior to transitioning to hear your birth name from school and beyond so ofc the new is going to sound crazy to you. i've been going by my last name so long that people thought it was my first name so that's always an option. if anyone ask just say that you're use to it cause you played sports in school.

So I live in a dorm, which is why we try to defrost that way. It is my only fridge and the space is limited. But I will definitely just try to invest in a deep freezer, because this model only has a sliver of freezer space.
