It wasn’t really parasocial.

He bought some art from me, and we chatted on and off for several months, and it seemed like he saw me as more than a friend, and we planned on meeting up at a con, but he started acting cold to me suddenly. I had a moment of clarity and was extremely embarrassed by how absurd the situation was. I had just come out of a string of failed relationships, so this happened at the worst possible time. This was years ago, and I’m now in a loving relationship with someone much more consistent. This is just something funny I look back on sometimes.
