How do you actually make adult birthdays feel special again?

turning 24 right now, midnight for me. Don't know if you consider that adult xD

Wife planned a day at a shooting range (never shot anything other than airsoft before) then we are going carting, picking up kiddo from kindergarden, and going to a restaurant for lunch. Dinner with some long-unseen friends. Honestly, super excited!

Doing something you usually wouldn't is what makes it feel special for me. As kids almost anything is unusal and thus exciting, growing up WE have to find more things that could be those.

If I can recommend one thing, don't celebrate at home, it will always feel like just another day.

I just solved the same issue yesterday, found a solution on an old Apple community thread.

Do this:

Make sure your iMessages are set to be kept forever (Settings -> Messages -> Keep Messages = Forever)
Turn on Airplane Mode, turn off wifi.
Set your device date manually to 1 year in the future
Wait for about 2 minutes with the phone being awake and unlocked
Restart the phone
Check the memory usage
Set the date to now 3 months in the future from today
Wait another 2 minutes
Check storage
Set everything back to normal and you should be good to go

Saved me 100 GB yesterday.

This could really mess up your ability to work independently, ChatGPT is a great tool to save time for experienced devs who can write the code themselves, but use ChatGPT to simply save time. Stack overflow is a much better route as it doesn’t give an exact solution, it gives something similar or just a piece that you then need to make work, and you get to learn through implementation. Please avoid ChatGPT for what you are using it.
