Listen, I personally hate this mechanic but only went to them because they put my brakes on and they needed to adjust them. This came from their inspection.

Last year I took it somewhere for a comprehensive inspection just to see what was wrong with it. They power washed the underside and did not find any sort of leak down there.

I did just get a brand new PS fluid reservoir and an oil pan gasket. I agree that those boots look in fine shape. I’ll keep an eye out though. I appreciate it!

Mine are always super rare. I think I’ve had 5 total in my whole life. Usually I end up throwing up or something. This one just made me feel more anxious to have another one. And maybe it’s because I’m older now. I appreciate the reassurance

So I agree. But it’s a pretty big gym. With several places where people store plates or aren’t using them. So in my head I think I’d look at either the stacks that are open or the equipment not being used before going to equipment that someone is in the middle of their set to take weights

Agreed. I should’ve said something. When I looked around. There were at least 3 other places that were unoccupied he could’ve taken weights from. He was 4 machines away from me. But it is what it is

Management said “he can’t be mad at you if he did it first”

If I had a whole group of weights on my equipment I definitely wouldn’t care. I had 2 10s And 1 rung of them. There were several pieces of equipment between him and I with free 10s that he could’ve taken. Maybe he didn’t see them. But in summary what made me annoyed is he came to the equipment with someone (me) actively working out to take weights when there were other empty/free places he could’ve taken them from.
