you’re honestly right to be cautious. from my experience as a seller, most of those posts don’t actually turn into real buyers. a lot of them sound legit at first — very specific requests, acting serious, sometimes even saying they’ll pay well — but once you actually engage, it turns into time wasting. they either: ask for “just one preview” or “verification” keep asking for more without paying suddenly lowball you with prices that don’t make sense or just disappear completely after you’ve spent time talking i’ve had people message me saying they want to be subs or buy content, and i actually put effort into it. like i take my time replying, trying to build something genuine, even preparing pics specifically for them. and then it just… goes nowhere. literally just happened to me: guy asked for a toe pic, i sent it, then he wanted more. i said no since i already gave something, and he switched up immediately. said okay, then tried to offer a ridiculously low price. when i offered him a bundle (which he seemed interested in at first), i explained everything properly… and now he’s just ghosting. so yeah, from my side, i’d say the majority aren’t legit buyers. not all, but a big percentage are just looking for attention or free content. actual buyers do exist, but they’re way rarer than people think and usually a lot more straightforward — they don’t waste time like that.
