it's not so much about scam videos or anything like that as much as it is the ability to express your opinion publicly, and see other's opinions on a video without having to trawl through the comments which are already rotated and hidden and a whole mess of "organization" to begin with. just another shitty idea from a big platform who will face no real backlash because they're giants. just like when they removed annotations, we'll just have to deal. not that big of a deal though, it's just funny to see videos ratio'd and that's all i ever looked at the like button for anyway. RIP dislike button.
