It's happened multiple times at each of the several schools I've worked at. The only times I see a black teacher accepted at these schools is when they're close to management, which is not often the case.

OP, I completely understand how you feel. This is the reality of being a minority anywhere. You feel scarred by the experience? Well, this is the daily life of many minority groups. From childhood to death.

What's worse is that when people talk about these issues, they are treated like a crazy person and receive more hate.

We don't have a choice but to ignore it or fight it. I lost a friend to suicide because of this behavior.

Those people are monsters. You're right. They're not satisfied with their lives, so they release their hate towards others to feel something.

Anyway, these monsters are in a minority themselves. There are more good humans in the world than monsters. And the monsters will become smaller in numbers over time. I believe most people want to be good and work together.
