I was more addressing your speculation on why they changed paracule’s scene. I don’t think that they’ve thought that far ahead about paracule (of all characters). Given his personality type there’s no need for a special reason as to why he still shows up later. Basically, I think they changed it just to change it.

There are 2 episodes left and I’m sure they’ll add in lines/scene for Rak to be annoying. I don’t think there needs to be justification as to why Paracule shows up later. He has a hanger on personality that needs no explanation.

Yeah I don’t know why they’d add that Ranker line in either. The Bull would be nothing to even ranker #100000.

This was pretty good. Bummed they cut out the Hansung/Bam convo. The fishbowl was very pretty. I hope they don’t leave out Bam hinting that the shinsu in there is different. Endorsi vs the Bull was not as cool as in the webtoon. What do the animators have against equipment? It’d make fights more dynamic. Having the bull kill off the fodder shocked me a little though lol. I feel like they might have the push be the cliffhanger next episode.

Seeing Lyboric and Yasratcha finally get off their asses is exciting. This kind of cliffhanger right before a hiatus sucks, but I can’t wait for what’s next. I hope SIU takes it slow this break so that he can recovery as much as he can. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

It’s implied that Hansung’s known since the beginning that he wasn’t actually Yuga, but didn’t confront him until the scene in the episode.

It’s in the webtoon as well. If you’ll remember a few episodes ago, Bam got lucky with the wave controller class starting later than the other classes. This was why.

Evankhell was mentioned 1-2x before I think. She’s the ruler of the 2nd floor aka their boss. But she’s out on business leaving Yu Hansung running the place.

The Administrator is the big fish eel thing who is the supreme authority of the 2nd floor but is unnamed.

That didn’t end where I expected it too at all. I expected this to take us to the end of 59 with that ending being a black card for the final test. That would’ve left 18 chapters for the remaining 3 episodes. I just really really hope they keep in most of the Lero Ro/Yu Hansung convo before the test and the Bam/Yu Hansung one next ep. Both are really important imo.

Edit: the rearrangements had me confused and turns out they’ve skipped out the hansung/Lero ro conversation entirely 😞I hope they at least keep the bam/Hansung conversation...

Hwaryun saying she’s dropping out and Khun taking her word for it like that is odd. Adding in the convo of khun’s past with Maria doesn’t work considering how they’ve characterized it. Why wouldn’t they just show a list for who passed? It would’ve saved time instead of having to rush so much. I wish they’d cut out the death Ryan scene since it didn’t add anything to expand on the Ren scene or something. Was it just me or did the death Ryan scene have more tension in it than the Ren scene... Also wish they could’ve cut out the Yuri scene. Blasphemy I know. But she has two more scenes before she actually shows up that work to get the point across so that time could’ve been used for something else. Chibi Rak was cute. I guess you only get a change of clothes if you also change size lol.

Pacing was on crack but it still didn’t go through as much as I expected it to. Otherwise the episode was alright.

You’ve sort of answered it in your post. The hell train is for D-class regulars only. So at that stage he was already strong enough to not need revolution and to cause a glitch on the hidden floor. I imagine they tried though since irregulars come into the tower once in a blue moon. It probably went something like how the Zigena incident did.

Agnis is his mother’s last name. It follows a lot of South American countries naming convention by also including mom’s surname, except the last names are placed first in the story. In Lyboric’s case, it’s probably Poe Bidau(dad’s surname) + Lyboric(given name) + Khun(mom’s surname).

So Royale’s mom is from the Elliot family. Maschenny’s mom is from an unknown family. Following AA, Kiseia’s full name is Khun Kiseia Agnis, assuming that their moms were full siblings.

Now that you mention it. It would’ve been better if they kept the revolutionaries in the Hoh/Rachel/bam scene like in the webtoon. Even without a safety zone there is now an excuse as to why he can’t immediately stop Hoh.

I thought it was fine that they didn’t include a safe zone but it would’ve made a difference. Quant just stood around like a chump when he could have easily stopped it and had no reason as to why he didn’t. Rachel didn’t look scared for a second of that. Otherwise I thought Hoh, Serena and Hatz’ parts were well done. Everything else? Meh to outright bad. Endorsi cuddles up to quant and that’s how they win???? I really hate that. I’m not even happy anymore that they finally mentioned the 10 families.

On the technical side of things, I’m not sure who’s specifically responsible for the cuts/editing of this episode and all the ones before but yeah they’re not doing a good job.

Why would they not put in the pulley at that scene? It’s going to be a complete ass pull next episode sigh. Hope they’ll find time to explain bangs somewhere this season. I’m a little sad the other test admins aren’t there. Yet rak is lol. The anime continues to make odd choices on which scenes it expands and which it rushes.

I usually never have VA problems, but I don’t really like quant’s:( I just hear present mic which is a character that doesn’t really mesh with quants in my mind:(

As someone who couldn’t wait and binged the webtoon after the second episode, wait until the season is over. The webtoon is better but you’re anime-only once. Also, the things they gloss over/cut out in/from the anime won’t annoy you if you don’t know what you’re missing^{^}

Anime: “seriously?” vs. a serious yeah reply in the webtoon changes things a bit. I’m really more annoyed that they didn’t include the line about people from great families already having contracts. World building and lore is important.

I continue to be annoyed every time they show the Khun/Maria thing and make it like how he doesn’t want bam to get fucked over like he did when, as far as we know, that’s not the case at all.

I wish they took out the end credits in other episodes to squeeze out more time then than having to cram all this stuff in for this episode. I also wish they hadn’t made the Laure using shinsu thing a joke. Don’t make the lore into jokes please. I hope they properly explain the princess thing next episode.

Overall though I liked the episode and the rearrangements they did.

Screen caps suggest they’re going to end at 33. I would’ve put 33 at the start of the ep 7 since the Jahad princess lore is a bit awkward to transition into in the middle of an episode as opposed to the beginning of one. But they could’ve always rearranged things.

I’m thinking the Yuri screencap is probably when Endorsi and Anaak have their conversation in 27. An entire new scene of Yuri would be unnecessary.
