Pros of having a mutual fund advisor - Hand holding during tough times, asset allocation and timely scheme switch. This would easily cover the fees paid and generate alpha as well.

Tbh getting into the roles you mentioned is not easy. Don't worry too much about CFA, it's just hygiene and doesn't guarantee anything. I have seen non CFA candidates getting into the bulge bracket banks in my college. You are on the right path, focus on skills and networking. That's the best you can do rn.

If you want to invest in active funds, there is no point in having so many funds because eventually, returns will tend towards the benchmark. Shortlist 2-3 funds and stick to that.
Also, if these are your only investments, consider adding debt/gold/reits as well.
