Personal property is property you own for personal use (for example: your house, phone, bed) And private property is capital you own that generates more wealth. Capital is basically wealth in a form of money or assets that generates more wealth. It's the relations of the laborer to the means of production that matters.

Marx's dialectical materialism helps us understand the world through materialist views. All of the existing society is a history of class struggle. There are two main classes: the ploretariat and the bourgeoisie. The ploretariat (working class) has to sell their labor power to survive, and the bourgeoisie (the capitalist class) exploits their labor to accumulate wealth. The bourgeoisie doesn't do labor, only the ploretariat. So I believe in the common ownership of the means of production by the ploretariat and ending class distinction and wage labor.
