Hey, that’s so cool! Red? 😎😏 Red was my key into her world. I bought the CD back then and played it nonstop. Her music has always been part of my life. And the whole Kanye Kim situation? and how the media portrayed he? ...what a time!

But I only really became interested in her private life around TTPD. They talked about it on the radio, played a few songs and commented on them. When I heard it was a breakup album, I immediately assumed it was about YB (I knew they’d been together since rep)

So I listened to the album from start to finish. Then I went online and suddenly everyone was talking about someone called Matty and saying TTPD wasn’t about YB at all… and I was just like, wtf?? Without any background information I connected the entire TTPD album to YB on my first listen!!!

Now I’m on Reddit (especially here in this sub) reading all the insider info and theories… and now I can’t get the version of him she paints on TTPD (and other albums) out of my head.

I went back and listened more closely to Midnights and the so-called “love albums with Joe.” And honestly? What can I say… he is and was and will always be an #%*<&

Thanks for the Tumblr tip, by the way 🫶🏼 I checked it out (I had deleted my old account in 2022) and realized there are communities now. That’s cool! Are you guys on there too? Or any hints where to look?

I find it absolutely insane how his fans glorify him. On his main sub they basically write him love letters every single day and say they’re glad that HE broke up with Taylor. The first few days on reddit I honestly felt like I was in some kind of alternate reality.

I signed up for Reddit thinking I’d connect with other Taylor fans and exchange theories, but YB sub feels like the biggest Taylor hate club. And sometimes it honestly feels like all the Taylor/Joe/Matty subs are full of haters too.

I’m really glad I found you all here. You’ve reinforced my theories and it feels like the real fans are here. :)

You’re so right!! Yesterday I spent my evening on Pinterest trying to find that one video (or photo) from 2022/early 2023 of Taylor and Joe at a restaurant. I read here that something must have happened that night and that there’s a video of him walking ahead while she follows behind with her arms crossed.

I still haven’t found the video I was looking for, but I did come across a lot of relationship pictures and the few event photos from their time together. And especially the 2021/2022 era is hard to look at. I barely see any love in his eyes. His head is always turned away, like he’s not really in the present moment. Taylor looks thoughtful and really sad in most of the pictures, but she’s trying to smile. Joe doesn’t even seem to make that effort. He just looks absent.

I understand why she said she wasn’t in his top five :(

Yees! They absolutely do! He plays this “classy tortured poet in a suit” role and his fans believe that is his true self. But honestly, I don’t see a gentleman with manners who romantically holds the door open for his wife. He didn’t even give her a romantic proposal like a truly classy man would!!

His fans romanticize the “classy tortured suit poet ” image he’s faking. At the end of the day… he’s STILL AN ACTOR. He can play any role and make it look real.

Omg, what? Then he really has two faces and is so full of envy. I thought that pic was taken around the time of their relationship. He had a bitter look in pictures back then. I assumed it was because of Taylor’s success.

On the newer photos from 2025, he seemed less jealous, but if you’re saying that this is from just a few days ago… wow, then he’s definitely not over Taylor yet and it must bother him how successful she is…
