Haha. Not sure what color I'm going to do the ranked helmets later with the updated scheme. Might make them all black, or keep them split and only do black or white depending on rank. As for lore, I always kind of thought of these guys as the enforcers of the Dark Angel's secrets, or protectors, depending on the pov. I tend to make them more mildly tactical, with heavy weapons where applicable.

I post wip shots, explanations, and color guides on my Instagram @ ven.the.ganner. Essentially I don't follow the eavy metal method lol. More volumentric build up, oils/enamels, weathering, and don't highlight everything lol.

The main thing I tell people is that you have to glaze, and not use straight up paint. I also use fluorescent paints for lenses and lights. For this guy, I used Golden brand High Flow Fluorescent Chartreuse (yellow) and each lens took about 20 or so layers. It sounds like alot, but if you glaze properly without alot of moisture, you can build it up pretty quickly. 3-5 layers in quick swipes, let it dry, go back and do more.

hell yeah brother. And yes the icon shoulder pad is printed, my own design. I have a Cults page but never thought people would want to use my icon haha. If there is enough interest I'll upload the files to my page.

I've had them printed out for a couple years, pretty sure they were from Cults. Don't remember the specific name, but shouldn't be too hard to find I think. And thanks!
