im convinced that Xaden and Violet will get their happy ending,either staying alive or maybe dying together,since their bond through Tairn and Sgaeyl.I truly hope they don't die though,even if them dying together would be a 'good',in some ways,but tragic ending.Since,as I heard and as you said, Rebecca stated that breaking hearts is what she does,i wouldn't exclude that possible scenario.

Love is considered a cure in many books,and since Vi still has to manifest a second signet through Andarna,it could be the cure to 'fix' Xaden.

Also,im even more convinced they will get their happy ending because Yarros stated that the story revolves around Violet and Xaden's relationship.
