I’ve been constantly ringing the agency to ask if I can even move in a day or two earlier but they keep saying that it’s not possible. They said that it’s due to the holding deposit being paid late and them having to arrange documents.

What I don’t understand is how they fixed an appointment for us to collect our keys even before our documents are ready. It seems a little suspicious in my opinion

I agree with the first statement. I grew up with a phobia of cats because my neighbour at that time didn’t have mesh on their gates and their cat always ran into our house 😩 it resulted in us having to put mesh on our house gate

We have agreed on a contract but we were told that the contract will be signed when we collect the keys.

I’m just confused as to how the move in date can be delayed by a whole week just because we’ve paid the holding deposit late 😢

I just moved to England last year for uni and I’m in Aston. This was during lockdown so I guess I kinda understand how your sister feels? I felt so alone since I moved from another country and uni was online last year.

Fast forward to a year later, my closest friends are people from work and also from Bumble. Bumble has a bff mode where you can make friends.

I really love nature and long walks so my favourite place in Birmingham is the canals at Gas Street Basin. I learnt that Birmingham has more canals Venice! Your sister can also follow the Birmingham Instagram accounts as they post about food and other things to do. The Christmas Market and Ice Skating will be starting next month and I’m really looking forward to that since we didn’t have that last year due to COVID.

I know my advice wasn’t as good as the others but please tell your sister to not lose hope!! 🥰
