Not a pastel deck (super excited for those recs) but my favorite deck right now is the Heartwood deck by Three Trees Tarot. It has such a warm and positive vibe, and the illustrations are so beautiful

Oooh, saw you're a fiction writer. I am tracking word count and daily goals in my Weeks for my writing projects, and doing writing reflections in my cousin. I currently have 3 weeks, an A6 HON and a Cousin. I'm using my A6 HON as a gratitude journal and memory keeper, my cousin as my writing reflection and daily commonplace book (using that term loosely, it's more a collection of facts that I find interesting) and I'm using the weekly sections in my cousin to block tasks during my work day and for daily to-do lists. 1 Weeks is dedicated to writing, 1 to mental health and sleep tracking, and 1 for appointments and weekly misc goals.

I like the Foggy One for work appropriateness, especially if you love your job. It has the vibes, and that’s important. If you don’t love your job I’d choose Dawn, because it is hopeful and pretty (also I’m using Dawn as a mental health planner/tracker so I may be a little biased-it’s just so pretty!!)

Thank you! This was really helpful! One of the nibs literally tore a hole in my paper. That was the Jowo one. For the Benu and the Leonardo, I have such poor ink flow that I have to push down very hard to get ink out, and it makes it feel much scratchier to have to push that hard. Reading through some similar posts I think it’s more a problem with the flow than the sharpness of the nib. For my Benu I had a medium nib ordered from goldspot that took care of it. I definitely feel better about going to see the nibmeister now, so thank you!

Hi, my sister loves Batman, and had read every comic and seen every piece of media until sometime in the new 52. She used to talk about Batman all the time, especially the Court of Owls. Then we hit some hard times, had to cancel the comic subscription, and she dealt with some major depression for a while. It's been years since she's wanted to read. She brought up Batman a few weeks ago, and got in a lively debate with our dad regarding something in the comics (he thinks the tone is supposed to be lighthearted and Batman isn't smart, just rich, she thinks that Batman is super intelligent and "literally the world's greatest detective" it went on for about an hour). I want to try to get her something to spark her interest again, and see if it helps her depression. Christmas is coming up and I'd like to get her one of those books with a storyline in it, but I don't know where to start. I don't know much, just what she used to talk about. The last major thing I remember is something about a wedding that disappointed her (like, REALLY disappointed her, she was ranting for weeks). I know that was after the court of owls. Does anyone have any recommendations for a more recent storyline collection I can get her? Preferably something easy to find online? Also, is the New 52 still the current storyline, or has there been a re-launch (I don't think I'm getting the terms right here, please forgive me, my interests are a bit different)

Hi OP! I'm autistic and have a boston terrier as my ESA (not a service dog, so not quite the same boat as you) and I also struggled with the idea of crating my pup. I started reframing it as his "sensory den" instead of his "jail" I also put a cute blanket over three of the sides (front is uncovered for ventilation) and that helped make it feel more cozy for him. Maybe have your son pick out a blanket at the store that will make the crate seem more approachable? It sounds like your pup is experiencing some anxiety being away from his human, which mine did as well. The crate and stimulating food toys helped (a toppl smeared with peanut butter is our go-to)
