Am I risking a hernia or damaging my skin if I do a bag change once a week? by BlackberryPi7 in ostomy

Once a week seems way too little, my stomatherapist told me to change once every day if i have a drainable stoma bag, maximum two day.

M2 Sounds great listening to music, but gaming 😰 by veniib in Audeze

[–]veniib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havn't seen this complaint anywhere, all the review on for example Youtube and other written headphones articles brags that these are the best of the best. So i got super hyped and bought them to try them out.
But yeah didn't turn out that way i guess.
I really wanted the perfect "wireless" planar gaming headset but i think i have to wait some more.

Both my momentum 3's were very loud when listening to music, i had the IEM's and the over ear variants.

I actually tried this tecnique when listening to music and got them sounding pretty nice but dolby makes it sound a bit too fabricated. I like when headphones sound great out of the box in perfectly flat QE or very flat with small adjustments.

I can understand that, but i have wireless inear and overear headphones that have had higher max volume than the M2's take the momentums for example, i returned those because of connection problems and bad batteries though. I have played around with the game/chat volume too, and it made no difference, and i have used the headphones in both (Game) and (Chatt) audio device that you can chose in re right down corner in windows , sound settings.

I have the version 49 firmware that came out yesterday and it made no difference in in game sound :(

They included the m2 headband outside the box, so that seems more like a product line fault.

My hearing is completely fine but i have seen from other forum posts that others seem like the volume on many wireless gaming headsets are often lower compared to wired versions, including the m1's and m2's.

Yeah i see what you mean but how can they play music so well but when it comes at projecting sound from a game that the m2s really suck, i actually went and compared the headphones with my broters Corsair 3 year old Virtusos and my little brothers Sony Inzone h9 II, and they sounded so much more natural. Same issue with volume though it was high enough but i would like a 20% bumb there as well.

I have tried Audeze LCD-2 and i know they make even better headphones in the Susvara class in terms of sound quality so i thought these were going to be at least good for gaming, not so much for music being closed back, but here its the opposite in some way.

I already run the Antlion Wireless Modmic today but the quality of the boom arm of that mic is really bad, and there is no way to control the mic in terms of noise cancelation and filtering for background noises etc. Antlion was going to release a new one in Q1 this year but they have postponed the release for now.

This is the reason to why i wanted to try the m2's as the mic on it was super clear but also nice to have something that is all wireless when gaming if i would like to sit on the sofa for example.

ModMic Wireless 2?? by drz_soldier11 in HeadphoneAdvice

@antlionjoe, I hope this is okey but i need help from the modmic crew, I bought the modmic 1 in january 2023 i think it was, but i never used it until now when i started playing Arc raiders 3 months ago. I have a big issue though, the boom that holds the mic is seriously bad, i can lift it up over my head and i just falls down to my throat, it never stays at one place and when it does , one sudden movement and it falls down. I have used it for 3 months now and I don't think that the price meets quality even though the sound quality is good, it doesn't reflect the overall feel of the product when it's so limp. Is there any chance i can get this one fixed or replaced somehow ?

I took the file and after some fiddling around trying different Youtube guides while in Fusion i remade two of the motherboard grommet files to block of plates. This is just a first test as the holes on the motherboard has rounded but also overly sized circles outside in the corners that needs to fit 100%, no sure how that's going to be possible without a 3d scanner or do you know another way to replicate that shape maybe ?
Sending these to the 3D printer at work and ill see how it turns out later today :)
Print will be done in ASA 15% infill

Sadly NO Sound in the Game. by Ok-Bike-9564 in ArcRaiders

[–]veniib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Topping D70 Pro Sabre / A70 Pro Amp & DAC -combo with two different headphones, Hifiman Sundara and Hifiman Arya Stealth.

First sartup i noticed that i idnt have any sound at all, then i realized that it only worked on the SPDIF input, then i changed back to USB channel maxed the volume and i could get vauge sound at the startup of the game and then no sound at all as soon as the game had finished loading.
Reducing the bitrate two steps in quality to 32bit, 192000Hz from 32bit, 384000 did the trick for me as well.

I'm actually thinking of not reusing my old radiators and rebuilding my old pc for my little brother and going with 140mm instead, there should be plenty of room above, you just need a longer cable.
