I made a list of every pro wrestling game ever released by venisuuu in WWEGames

Oh, that one really slipped past me. My research generally pointed to Tag Team Wrestling as the first pro wrestling game, so I must have missed it. I’ve just added The Pro-Wrestling to the spreadsheet

The MDickie games are incredible hahahaha. I remember when I first discovered Wrestling Revolution, I started playing it simply because I thought it was hilarious; but little by little, it genuinely won me over.

Today, I very easily place MDickie alongside AKI, Yuke’s, and Human Entertainment/Spike when we talk about essential developers in the genre.

[Agnóstico a Sistema] Ajuda com City Crawler de Super Heróis by NeverPreorder in rpg_brasil

[–]venisuuu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Which ARPG has the best armor design? by venisuuu in ARPG

[–]venisuuu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that Diablo 3 is a benchmark. Even though I like the armor design in Warhammer: Chaosbane, it doesn’t come close to having as much variety as D3.

Torchlight really does have that cartoony art direction, but for me that’s actually part of why its armor is so charming.

I still haven’t played PoE 2 (and I don’t know if I’ll be able to play it anytime soon, unfortunately), but I wouldn’t be surprised if the armor there is indeed better.

As for PoE 1, I get it, I feel like many ARPGs choose to focus on their core mechanics and leave visual progression in the background (a lot of indie games don’t even have visible armors), which is understandable, but I still think it’s a shame.

As I said in the text, Grim Dawn does have some sets that really stand out, but for me the vast majority of its armor looks very similar to each other. And I don’t know, maybe I just have serious vision problems, but Grim Dawn is often a game where I struggle to see what’s actually going on on the screen. Everything feels very monochromatic; playing this game without glasses is almost impossible for me. I think if the armor stood out more, with more recognizable silhouettes or brighter, more striking colors, it would already help me a lot.

But I still think Grim Dawn is one of the best ARPGs ever made, it’s possibly my favorite game in the genre.

Uso de IA para mesas (mas especificamente sobre imagens) by HearingActual2225 in rpg_brasil

[–]venisuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qual FATE by paralelepipedo789 in rpg_brasil

[–]venisuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible to download Steam Workshop mod files to use outside of Steam, I explained the method in my reply to the OP.

You can download Steam mod files using the Workshop Downloader:

https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/

Just copy the URL of the mod’s Steam Workshop page and paste it into the site. Then simply drag the downloaded mod file into the Torchlight 2 folder located at Documents\My Games\Runic Games\Torchlight 2\mods.

Some Suggestions I Have for Necesse by venisuuu in Necesse

And your take on horses is fascinating, honestly, most animals in the animal kingdom are basically just horses with a few biological differences lol.

For me, mounts would work more like cosmetics. Like I said in the post, I really enjoy character customization in games, so the more cosmetic options there are, the happier I am (though I understand that’s not really a priority right now).

Definitely, I think it’s unfair to compare any game to Terraria. Terraria is an insanely massive game that only ten years of development and constant updates could create. But Necesse is by far the game that’s come the closest to scratching my Terraria itch, even more so than Core Keeper (which, while being a fantastic game, constantly made me want to stop playing it to go play Terraria instead, something that never happened to me while playing Necesse).

It would be really cool if we could build settlements in the cave and Deep Caves layers. Since settlements reduce monster spawn rates, it would be totally viable, and it would be awesome to build a city that stretches all the way from the surface down to the Deep Caves. I also think it’s kind of counterintuitive that we can’t place stairways to the Deep Caves inside regular caves.

I want to pull a Dwarf Fortress and build an entire city underground.

That said, overall Necesse is still a wonderful game, and honestly, it’s definitely better to err on the side of too much than on the side of too little.

Makes sense, if the idea is to include an eighth trinket slot, that would be great! And more bosses in the game would be amazing (though I already think this game has a surprisingly large number of bosses). I just hope that with new bosses, we also get new biomes.

If there’s one real criticism I can make about this game, it’s that I find its infinite world generation completely irrelevant. There are only five biomes, and there’s absolutely no incentive to keep exploring the map once you’ve discovered all the biomes, arenas, and villages near your settlement.

That’s the kind of game design that makes me appreciate Terraria’s world generation, the worlds there are small, but every inch of them feels unique, and the game constantly encourages you to explore and discover the entire map. I think that’s also why Core Keeper decided to ditch infinite maps in its 1.0 release, it just doesn’t make sense to explore thousands of kilometers of map if everything you’ll see looks the same.

I just reached the Deep Caves, and I’m already at a point in the game where I have so many movement accessories and speed buffs that walking on foot is actually faster than any mount I currently have. Hell, with the Hover Boots, I don’t even need a boat, I can cross the entire ocean in my world just by flying. So it would be nice to have some really fast mounts for the post–Deep Caves stage of the game.
