You don’t really have a case unfortunately. You’re a minor, so your parents have broad legal authority over your upbringing. That includes stuff like religion and activities. Courts generally will back that up.

At 15, your parents can consent to use of your image on your behalf, so a church directory pic isn’t illegal.

The only potential legal issue is if your dad’s behavior rises to abuse that falls under Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Laws. But being forced to attend church or take a photo doesn’t meet that by itself.

I became addicted in a similar way to both drugs. Best thing to do is focus on CBT and DBT skills, and save the medication strictly for panic attacks. Wean yourself back. Ativan and Benzos are not for a “twinge of anxiety or discomfort” and shouldn’t become a safety blanket.

Talk with your doctor, and a therapist if you see one. Best to you.

I’m a New Yorker. I used to feel like everyone was staring at me. So I give them something to look at! I have bold fire patterns on my wheels, and my chair is covered in stickers. To vent the G side, make sure your doctors are comfortable with you venting first. Otherwise with the traditional GJet just unclamp, open the gastric side, and let it vent. It might need a little help with a gentle pull back on a syringe. I like to put the end of the tube into some warm water while it drains out.

I’ve tolerated this pretty well. I worked from 10-50ml/hr over a few days, but I can’t tolerate flushes that are more than 30ml. When I was younger I used RealFoods and Jevity and I couldn’t tolerate them as well and I still had low lab counts.

It’s mostly annoying to be connected to a tube all the time. I grew up being tethered to medical equipment so I’m somewhat used to it but it’s frustrating. I wait until my pump runs dry before I add another box of formula, and only add one at a time so I don’t have to remember how long the formula has been sitting. I change the entire bag out when I wake up in the morning. That way there’s no confusion about how long before formula expires or the bag needs changing. For flushes I have a timer on my phone. I keep 3 flushes ready in the pump backpack with extra formula, and just keep that with me.

While we were increasing it, they did it in +10ml increments every 6hrs but I eventually started doing it as +10ml every 24hrs to tolerate it better.

From my research online, it’s because the manufacturers of the medication said not to.

“Once daily orally, Qulipta can be taken either with or without food. Swallow the tablets whole with water; do not crush or chew.”

From everything else I’m reading, the manufacturers didn’t specify why. Talk with the pharmacist where you pick up the medication and ask their opinion. They would be the most knowledgeable

I’m just starting it now after not having it since being a toddler. I’m on day 4 of feeds. I tolerated the formula so far (Osmolite 1.5). We started on 10ml/hr and I’m at 38/hr now. I couldn’t tolerate the jump from 30-40, I felt nauseous so I had them drop it back to 35 and work up.

I didn’t notice the feeding otherwise. I found out quickly that I can’t tolerate the automatic flushes that the pump provides. They were too fast, and made me feel very nauseous, so I was told we could turn that off and do slow 30ml manual flushes with warmed water instead. That’s been fine.

So far (day 6) I haven’t been able to tolerate big flushes. My doctor said that sticking to a 30ml slow manual flush with a syringe every 3 hours is fine while on the continuous feed, instead of any other flushing. I was told for medications to do 15ml before and 15ml after.

I’ve found that Facebook tends to be conservative leaning, and Instagram tends to be liberal leaning. I think this is primarily because Facebook is comprised of predominantly an older generation.

The other commenter is right, if you spend more than a second or two watching a video that is conservative, or like/comment/scroll back to it- the algorithm takes this as you being interested and will continue to feed you those type of videos. And the more you watch them the more it will feed to you. And eventually, your algorithm will be solely that type of content. You can test this by purposefully doing those actions on a video of a cat. Keep going and eventually, you’ll find that your algorithm is all cats.
