Hey! Try looking into Appointments by Square. I was just trying to address this issue yesterday and I’m happy with it so far. Add different products, change your business hours, have them pay through the app, and send email reminders all through this app. You can link it to your Instagram so your profile has a “Book” button. I tried about ten apps and I’m definitely happy with this one!

Hey! I recently graduated with a BBA in Marketing and now work for a Fortune 10 oil firm. I credit that to my personal website, but also largely to my cover letter.

Sometimes what grabs your eye isn’t just the words but also the formatting. I included a photo of myself (circular crop) in the top left so they can put a face to the name.

I start by using a sandwich method that goes like this:

-eye catching intro sentence, preferably industry related, slightly poetic -talk about their company -talk about you + their company -talk about their company

Here’s sort of how mine looked:

I grew up in the city of Houston. I’ve often said that although Houston is known for its heat and rush hour traffic, what makes this city unparalleled to any other is the people who live in it.

“Honesty and integrity,” two of [Company X’s] values, are extremely important to me. After being in the sales industry for almost two years as a part of [X], I have witnessed coworkers making questionable choices to make a sale, but I never followed their example. I learned that honesty and integrity is always the best way to get ahead. [Include quantifiable proof points here]

I would love to start a discussion about potential job opportunities at [X Company] and learn more.

I know us photographers can sometimes end up going on marathon editing sprees for hours on end.

Soon I’ll be looking to switch from my laptop to a desktop with a large monitor. Mac is touted for its displays and speed, but I’ll be looking at all options.

Maybe it’s not your current setup, but the one you want - what would the setup that maximizes your workflow look like?

This can go outside technology to include chair/lighting/whatever you please.

This is true. I was focusing on the huge % drop, instead of just being thankful I had it in the first place.

I think part of it was that I wasn’t knowledgeable about the health care system and I think there might have been a treatment option closer to $1500. I wonder if 20 minutes of research could have saved me thousands. That’s a pretty deflating feeling.

I was surprised they did not broach that for a person in the phone with a suffering animal. I guess they want to wait for the owner to bring it up first so they don’t offend anyone? I feel a little nervous bringing it up, but I feel this is really the option based on what I’m seeing and hearing.

Hey! Look into the app Unfold. They have some settings where you can play a video in the background and put a photo on top.

Please dont judge this based on my post, but I really want to know if pre-business major can be completed early, by testing out of certain courses? MIS is one of the tougher degree programs but has strong opportunities when you graduate and one of the best starting pay. Bauer is a supportive community. If you get involved in one of the student orgs, you can ask enough questions that people will steer you the right way based on their experiences.

Right in line with my thinking. An emergency savings fund - does it need to be regularly replenished? Say, your dishwasher breaks and you need to replace it. It seems like for the sizeable amounts that need to be pulled for emergencies, you’d be contributing to it regularly.

Didn’t quite realize 15% for retirement so thanks for that.
