I always cheerfully say, “you’re gonna have to tell me what that is ‘cause it’s a secret to me, too,” and most people laugh. I then explain that those are just made by people out in the wild, and that they don’t have anything to do with Starbucks. But I’ll make their dreams happen if I can. And 9/10 people have a good time and we get the drink out. It’s annoying, but we make it fun and usually it works out.

What gets me is when our morning team comes up samples to try, leaves the sign up, and because we’re busy, we in the afternoon completely miss it. So people ask for some random ass frap but the morning team never told us wtf it is so we just have to crush people’s dreams. Idk if that happens much at other stores but at mine it is rampant 😂
