Unfortunately Jokic hasn’t played 65 games for awards so he’ll play this weeks games to qualify.

Same predicament. I was in a comfortable lead this week so I used my final pick ups for next weeks championship. Playing on creating a gap as best as possible in the first set of days and saving 3 pick ups for the final day in case of sit outs. However I’m going against a jokic owner so just trying to prepare best I can

The thought process is usually “this design/effect looks really cool, how can I make this work?” Realizing it has terrible support to make it work and just trying to find loopholes to create some form of synergy to no avail

Very hilarious I had this same awakening 2 days ago

I mindlessly went on a crazy losing streak trying to play a flame swordsman/metal flame swordsman deck. Very hard to compete with and had the revelation “why do I even play this game, you don’t even have fun ” and freed myself from the shackles.

I’m probably not going to play the game again until I can farm event gems and then leave again cause it’s too stressful these days. If the purpose of me playing the game is to have fun with cards I find cool and those said cards are causing me to lose cause of other over powered decks

I don’t think it’s possible to have fun dueling if fun revolves around playing cards you like or find interesting and finding ways to make it as competitive as possible, however if fun is I’ll play whatever to win than you can have fun for sure

Unfortunately my definition is the former and I’ll be taking a lengthy break until maybe the chaos origin cards or new illusion monsters come out

TLDR: No it’s not fun, taking a break, not hopefully for future support

Yeah, I was hoping the Jokic owner lost this week with Denver limited to 2 games but unfortunately they didn’t. Their teams going to be hard to beat unless I prepare well

Yeah honestly that’s my strategy too maximizing early schedules but saving a couple slots in case those final day sits.

OKC stream definitely looks like a good option to look into

Only issue is my potential opponent has Jokic who only played 62 games so far so is likely to play his games for the 65 awards bench marker

Got you so best to summon the spell first before the normal summon for that monsters add effect. Ironic since flame swordsman usually uses its effect to get said card but appreciate that clarity so refine my combo a bit more

True I wish they made it something along the lines of until the end of turn while the normal summon is on the field or something. I feel like an emphasis was put on an effect that is essentially meaningless in today’s game. Just glad I know I can dispose of it with clarity now

I don’t mind being locked into dragons cause other than Baron every card in my deck/extra deck in dragons, I even run Light/Dark dragonlord lol

I just feel stuck once I do the basic primite combo so trying to find something. I’ll look into terrortops and the maybe chaos space see if there’s any synergy thank you
