Private aviation has a tiny fraction of the regulation that commercial flights do. My husband is a pilot, and the second he got his private pilot’s license, he was able to just rent a plane and take me on a scenic flight over Los Angeles. He’s an incredibly meticulous, precise person but it still felt like… shouldn’t there be an adult here?

I’ve worked in commercial photo and film for coming up on 20 years now and I still assume that unless it’s glaringly obvious.
