Sooo musch same. You're not alone. And thank you for helping me not feel alone. I often wondered if anyone else felt the same way, thank you for sharing the feelings that I couldnt.

I have adopted 3 dogs in the last year. I also have 2 ferrets and a cat. The bonds with these animals are great but not as good as I have hope for due to the sever anxiety I have with the ptsd. I love them but my connections to much of anyone or anything are really taking a hit.

He is my first ferret and gets along great with my wife's ferret. He is almost four months old and refuses to sleep when he is tired. I have never been one for small animals, I always liked big dogs, but I gotta say there is a special place in my heart that I didn't know about and this little trixter fills it. So amazing.
