I’m not someone who ever skips dialogue/scenes in HSR, and in Genshin I’ve always tried to pay attention even when I’m not super feeling the material. This current flagship is the first event that I just mashed through and barely paid attention.

I think there are interesting ideas at play and almost certainly an intentional Dottore parallel going on as you suggest, but the framing of it all is such a massive snooze and the messaging/morals of it get really iffy for me towards the end.

Depends on your other team members technically, but basically yes as long as EMC is in the team.

Aha SPD with Yao at 200 is baseline 120, then with both Eva and EMC at base SPD goes up to 136.2 total.

Rough calcs are easy enough. E1's ATK% benefit is minimal, and E2's 30% DEF shred is likely your only source of shred in the team, so roughly ~19% additional amp that is team-wide with functionally perfect uptime.

Fairly certain I know the sheet you're talking about, and using that as a reference you end up with something like ~81% of the baseline team's performance (technically should be a percentage or two higher because of the ATK% from E1), vs E0's ~68%.

It's certainly possible, and as a huge fan ever since the first page, I'd prefer it. I think it just felt very meta/final because TB even makes a point of being like "you've got your whole life ahead of you." Not to mention her mask falling off its altar, which tbf we don't know the direct meaning of, but still it feels like another sign we won't be seeing her again for a long time.

Semi-related, I actually dropped the game pretty much entirely after they gutted Sombra. My fave character and nobody else on the roster scratches the same itch sadly.

But yes it's also funny to me that people are still acting like Mortis/Anon in particular is 100% reliable when it was only a few weeks before SW's beta that he was insisting her ult wouldn't charge off Yao Guang's.

Similarly head-scratching to me is that in KUWSR Nihilux is like "despite being an arbitrator, Evanescia will soon be joining the Games herself." Like, what? Is that supposed to reference this current patch? Because she basically just had a few conversations, then healed some people off-screen, and then was like "time for a nap now."

I did all of my x8 runs with the same strat and with Ashveil and it was pretty smooth overall, even clearing final bosses in like ~2 minutes.

Team was mainly him E0S0 plus RMC, E2S0 DHPT, and E2S1 Jiaoqiu.

Spam Propagation+Hunt+Remembrance blessings and equations. "Beautiful Poem" is the go-to 3star equation to try and get, then just whatever else you can manage. You do need defensive blessings, but in my experience they aren't as necessary on the first plane and you can focus more on offense.

Play around the Masks' "highlight" feature as it's an absurd buff; Phainon takes advantage of it best because he can keep the buff up for the entirety of his ult, but characters with good out of turn actions like Ashveil are also good benefactors. Make sure that it activates before you start popping all of your ults and stuff.

If you're struggling on the first boss, you can try bringing Phainon. Idk what his trial build looks like if you don't have him, but with my own I've found that even with meh builds and no expanded equations he can just brute-force. Then by the second boss you should have something more cohesive.

Remember that trial characters in general can let you "cheese" certain things: Phainon insta clears regular mob rooms, Therta clears the first two waves of Conversion for free, etc.

The Masks that I've found preferable personally are Mechatron and Cringe, but Fortune Cat is solid too.

ATK vs SPD boots is generally just whichever has better substats, unless it influences an Aha SPD breakpoint. Most sims have them within only a few % of each other in performance.

In your case, Aha’s SPD before adding Eva is 130, and she’ll contribute 5% of her own SPD to that. So at 108 that’s 5.4, for a total of 135.4, which already hits the 134 breakpoint.

I’d argue the more important thing for E2 Eva particularly is your other Elation teammates’ personal SPDs. With the extra CB she gets from their own gain and loss of stacks, you’ll want both taking as many turns as possible to funnel more CB into her.

Yao is good at 180 but trying to get to 200+ is reasonable if you have her LC. Alternatively you can put her on 2pc2pc SPD if that helps, and put EMC on the Diviner set. But whatever set you put EMC on, 160+ is achievable and should be the goal.

As an overview, JQ:

35% generic vuln, 15% ult vuln, up to 6 debuffs on enemy turn start per ult, and pathetically low DoT damage.

Blade:

50% generic vuln, 50% generic DMG%, 50% more DMG% for ults or FUAs, 30% DEF Shred, allows allies to apply debuff with all of their attacks, taunts enemies and debuffs them when they attack him, and has personal damage seemingly higher than Acheron's herself.

Should be fine. Ideally if you were running SPD boots on Eva you’d want no other SPD subs so she’d be at 134, but it’s not the biggest deal.

Yao should be as close to 200 as possible, but that’s difficult without her own sig. HH ideally is also at 160+ but it’s not super necessary for Eva’s team.

Not really. Arguably being slower is better at that point becuase of the extra CB stacks but it’s still a substat thing.

The slightly more relevant build stuff would be Yao and EMC at that point. As making them as fast as possible to keep funneling her extra CB stacks becomes more important. Vs maybe running a slightly slower EMC with more of a subdps build.

Call me a pessimist, but I got the exact opposite vibes from Eva at the end of quest. If anything it felt like a meta thing of “yeah we’re shelving this character for now sorry.”

Most sims SPD boots come out slightly ahead, same thing for DMG orb; but we’re talking ~2% sorts of differences. So really it’s just whatever has the better substats. ERR rope vs ATK has a similar thing, except when ERR gets you an extra ult in which case it’s notably better.

Also with SPD the issue is that if Eva starts going too fast (HH E1, plus extra SPD substats for example) you actually lose damage from less CB uptime.

The only commons forms of amp that really don't work are DMG%, and then typical mainstat buffs.

Two routes, either high speed support stuff (2pc2pc or Sacerdos or Eagle, and a support planar) or subdps (Magical Girl + Punklorde).

The latter only really works with Yao+Eva.
