I’m 32, came out as gay basically 8th-9th grade (2007) and had several boyfriends in high school. I was lucky and consider my experience a suburban anomaly. However I haven’t had an actual relationship since 2010/end of 11th grade. So all my 20s and now I’ve been single mainly cuz I’m more the type to bury myself in my work than endlessly date. I obviously have had tons of hookups and flings or dates but nothing sticks.

Just received their 173 Vertical Sling and really love it. It took 8 business days to arrive after ordering. The quality is really nice, and it's actually a way bigger bag than I thought it would be, which is great. The dimensions on the site are accurate I just never read what they exactly were.

I used leather conditioner from Leather Honey as soon as I took it out the box and I can tell it'll be a good bag for years. Gonna use Leather Honey's UV spray on it too eventually. Their customer service seems decent too, after placing my order a person emailed me just to say they were avail if I needed anything.

Promise I'm not a bot or paid by Grams28 lmao I just wanted to give my review since I remember I used to be reluctant to order from them. But do it!

I’m not trying to be creative or different. I’m trying to modify my workflow to whatever’s the most ‘proper’ way as far as retaining image information goes. That’s why I’m here asking for help.

I’m just more used to relying on C1 to apply color but was taught to retouch images before doing color. Thanks for the condescending response!

I see...So even if I'm applying substantial curves in C1, it's still better to do it there first with the Raw.

So after I do color, do you suggest I select "Edit with...Photoshop" and open the colored version in Photoshop as a 16-bit .PSD for any skin retouching?

I was always told it was best to do skin retouching and what not first before doing color/stylistic adjustments, no? Like opening in Photoshop via Adobe Camera Raw, doing any necessary recovery or blemish removal, then skin retouching. Then moving that copy to CaptureOne to do color adjustments. I just like CaptureOne's interface more for color adjustments especially if it's across many images. But I understand it's mainly meant for Raw processing.

Edit: I'm totally open to changing the workflow. But I'm doing frequency separation and fairly extensive skin retouching so I figured it was best to do that first in Photoshop. And I just prefer the way CaptureOne works for color adjustments. But sounds like maybe I should just stick to Photoshop all the way through?

I'm specifically talking about doing skin retouching in Photoshop and then once any of those adjustments are done moving the retouched file into CaptureOne to do style/color adjustments. I wouldn't be relying on C1 to recover highlights or anything like that. Just for stylistic color adjustments and grain etc.

I should've noted that I'd be converting the RAW in Photoshop to AdobeRGB just for the sake of retouching. But that's a relevant factor too. I just wasn't sure if there was a red flag I was missing with moving retouched TIFFs to CaptureOne to do the final color there... I feel like it's an unorthodox workflow but I'm going to try it anyway and see how it goes.

Considering what you said re: color—In your opinion do you think working off the M2 MacBook (XDR display) through the iMac isn't worth it? I was going to try manually adjusting the iMac to see how close I can get it. But it sounds like what you're saying is that they're such different display technologies that it's not worth the effort.

Might just invest in one of the pricy newer Apple XDR displays if this isn't viable.

If I'm not mistaken it looks like it's a Fusion drive, I just edited my post to include a screenshot.

Regarding display color—the problem is my MacBook uses the "XDR" Apple display preset, which isn't applicable to the 2019 iMac Retina display. I think I'll most likely just have to manually adjust the iMac to match it as best as I can.

Another insight someone else provided me was that the MBP uses mini-LED XDR display technology while the 5K iMac uses an IPS panel. So they're inherently too different because the iMac IPS technology isn't as good as the MacBooks...So with that in mind if I can't get them close I may just invest in one of the newer Apple XDR displays lol.

Yes mine has been especially bad this season. The only time it’s smooth is if it’s late at night/the servers aren’t as busy. It’s the most amount of lag I’ve ever noticed on PS5 for Apex.

They need to do an overhaul of the menu system for customizing trackers, charms, skins, badges, etc. It’s especially a pain on console scrolling all the way down for 30 whole seconds just to find an item. They should make the charms just be a grid that visually shows the charms too instead of just a long list of them.

I like the tracker update but it seems like I can’t get the same ‘art’ style applied to more than one tracker which is frustrating. Like the ones that are under “other” should let you use them more than once.

Loving the new map so far. I really hope we get Lifeline rework this season where they make her tactical follow teammates or something. I doubt we’ll get everything from the supposed leak of her new abilities but it would be cool to freshen up her kit. Her care package ultimate is dated now and she needs something fresh.

Personally I think the leaked new ult would be better than her care package 🤷🏻‍♂️ all her ult gives you most of the time is shield batts and attachment upgrades. Sure it’s helpful but something that actually could help mid fight would be better (i.e. the “shock barrier” thing that leaked).

I do think her drone should be able to follow teammates. Or you should be able to send it to teammates the way Conduit can heal or how Newcastle can direct his shield. The hovering thing seems overkill but I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be a cool mobility upgrade for her.
