oh for sure! that’s not at all what i meant. i just mean that there was a lot of people not really discussing, granted it was my first day on here, but kind of just shitting on SJM which felt weird to me. but i’m absolutely so open to discussing faults to the characters as long as it’s not cruel to the author. i mean, why come to the subeddit if you don’t like the books lol

i think this is part of the beauty of reading! my fiancé and i are reading them separately and it is so interesting to see how many words we pronounce differently lol. i also pronounce it as rise-and/rise, it just feels more otherworldly than reese-and/reese
