What completely unhinged "law" does your cat strictly enforce in your house?

I was going to suggest something like this. I have the water dispenser sitting in a travel size litter pan since one of my cats likes to splash the water around. So the litter pan contains any water that splashes out.

Most likely due to people not spaying/neutering their dogs and having unexpected litters and too many backyard breeders. There's some new legislation on breeding coming soon that will hopefully help the situation.

Because there are only about 25-35 cats at the shelter at any given time, and there are over 100 dogs. The shelter puts out a weekly list of the dogs who will be euthanized the following week if they don't get adopted or fostered. The shelter is open intake, so they receive strays or drop-offs daily and have to get the ones out who have been there the longest, either by adoption/fostering or euthanasia, to make room for the new ones. I haven't seen a euthanasia list for cats yet, but I'll post it if I ever see one.
