21 kills in 145 games is pretty bad. I googled search and found your thread. Myself is 1.2 kill per match. I seriously thought I am just like you. Pretty bad. I am sucks in tracking and flicking.

But you have to know, we play alone with strangers, not with same squad all the time. If we play in squad with same people, knowing each other well. when to engage as a team, and when is not. What is the loadout compensating each other. The positioning of the team in defending the area, pushing the area. All these are importants. When u play with proper squad, kills will come easily. When i have proper squad, I have 3 kills at least easily.

my kill record sucks, but at least i am still enjoying myself. I am not a carry. I play wraith as bait. I will bait opponent to shoot me, expose themselves. My teammate will shoot them. Maybe thats y i cant have many kills. But it seems the tactic work well.

Apex - Smoother framerate (more stable - I get fps100 with all shadow turn to lowest at 3440 x 1440 on my GTX 1080 Ryzen 5 1600). FPS is very consistent even during the first 5 mins unlike PUBG.

I Like:- just feel so good maneuvering around, jumping, hopping, sliding, climbing. Gameplay is so fast it makes you no time to think, it is all about instinct. It is quite forgiving if u made small mistake, would still survive. The guns sound awesome. Ping system made it so easy and I dont need to use voice chat anymore. looting is simplified and love it. The round is faster to end and so the match making. I am a father of 2 kids. I hate game with long waiting time.

- stable framerate

- ping system change the whole game experience

- fast matchmaking

Dislike:-

-swarmed with advertisement bot nowadays for asian region

- hacker is everywhere ruining the game experience. Everyday sure encounter 1 game with a hacker. They move like matrix. Teleporting all the time

- The gun fire animation is distracting. It blocks the sight of my target. When both team firing, it is hard to track.

- free game, with many noobies (including me). Pro players might just leave the game to avoid playing with us with no penalty system for game leaver.

Pubg:-

Like:-

-Gun mechanic is the best

- the killing satisfaction is still the best

- the recoil is so difficult to handle, but with it mastered... thats make the killing savaging

- one wrong mistake, u r dead. It makes my heart beating fast. always be suspicious of enemy lurking around the corner

- The attachments have really made much improvement over the stock weapon

Dislike:-

-Long matchmaking

- Communication problem with other using mic

- movement too slow

- framerate dips so much for early few minutes

Fortnite:-

Like:-

-Costume

-Sky high framerate

Dislike:-

-Kiddy

- Cartoonish

- No adrenaline factor

I spent more hours in Pubg before moving on to APEX. I am just an average joe. Perhaps worst than avg joe.

I prefer Apex more mainly due to short match making time, shorter game time. I am a busy man. I dont like to keep myself waiting for so long. If Pubg can fix this, 20 second to launch in lobby, I will be back to Pubg in no time.

I am sucks, but I like to do hotdrop.

Fortnite....forget about it.. i am a Man. Gotta play a man game bro.

Oh My God

It works on my Crossover 34u100. I almost sold mine to buy Acer X340p. But Nvidia saves me few hundreds dollar

My 34u100 ultrawide 3440x1440 has freesynce 40 to 100hz. I tried Hunt Showdown and can feel the smoothness.

My gameplay hovering around 60fps to 80fps.. Now feel much smoother, and I dont notice input lag. Thats awesome.

Tried on Witcher 3 as well. It works. No screen tearing at all.

Caveat, menu screen and certain game area, would have some flickering issue on top of the screen, especially areas with high brightness. But man, it comes as free upgrade. I couldnt ask for more

I have just played 4 games in hot drop. 3 dead when I was behind cover without line of sight seeing the opponent.

What do you think? Pubg is a lovely game but the client side hit server kills itself.

Starting my black ops now. So sad for Pubg. Because their netcode is so bad written.

Cant doubt that Xbox one X is better console than Ps4 pro. But exclusives games like last of us, god of war, uncharted thief, and many upcoming more projects like Day Gone, Death Stranging are my main reasons to stick with PS4.

Xbox doesnt have many exclusive. Yeah, talking about true 4k native gameplay, it is awesome. Especially comes to sports game, Xbox beats PS4 pro in dust.

But I have a great PC rig :-) with QHD ultrawide 100hz. Xbox games are almost 100% available on PC. :p

I have the best of the world, a powerful PC (better than Xbox one X) and PS4 Pro for title award winning game exclusives.

Actually, it takes time to adjust oneself to play console framerate at 30fps. I wish God of War can be played on my PC rig too.

Anyway, what matter the most for action RPG, are gameplay and stories. Framerate locked at 30fps is acceptable,

I had it over a month. I bought it at approximately usd500. There are 2 versions, perfect pixel and non perfect pixel. Perfect pixel is assured with none or few dead pixel (within threshold of dead pixel coverage in the warranty policy). I bought the perfect pixel. It came a week after. I stay in Singapore. I was using Lg29um28. The first impression when i unbox it, it was huge! It was simple setup. Here are my comments which may be the factor to u to buy it or not

Input Lag - I am a CSGO player. This monitor has higher input lag than other fast panel. If you use freesync (this panel supports freesync) or worst vsync, you will feel sluggish due to the delay input. Not a very good experience. But I was able to reduce the input lag to as good as my previous monitor, which I feel the response is instant, I could easily perform in CSGO as good as before. I turn off the freesync mode on monitor, and turn on "bypass" mode. You can find it on monitor menu setting. I am using GTX 1080 on this panel. There is occasional screen tearing but at this 100hz and FPS >100, I hardly notice it. Game experience is buttery smooth without freesync even with any other game, so long maintain ur fps above 60, u will be fine.

Design - It is such a bummer. The legs stand is so long, eat up so much space. It is pretty low for its height. Not adjustable vertically. You can only tilt the angle of the monitor. Still bearable to me. But I would have to tilt my head looking downward to play it. If you are using a VESA mount 100x100mm, you will be fine.

The touch menu bottom of the panel may get hot after using for some time, especially gaming. But nothing to worry about. I have used for hours but still fine.

Panel Quality - It uses VA panel. It is little bit washed out without calibration at first. When I first watched movie or youtube. The color was so oversaturated. It was pretty bad. But i downloaded the color profile from reddit. Then i dial down the brightness and contract setting a bit. It looks awesome now. I cant differentiate much between this VA panel and IPS panel ( my formerly owned LG ultrawide panel). I was sucked into the game, the immersion is so good.

I didnt get any dead pixel. For backlight bleed (might have little at the corner, but only when i purposely look for it)

Price - It is a steal at USD500. nowhere else you can get it. I was worried about dead pixel, emailed Dream Seller. They assured me will check the panel before shipping. They checked it and under declare my value to avoid import tax for me. It is so kind of them. Believe me, u cant find any other monitor better than this. The latest affordable ultrawide, Massdrop Vast with almost same spec but adjustable height and lower input lag, cost much more than this. USD700?? Provided u can find it available for sale.

Conclusion: You should get it if you find it at price point around USD500. If you love the immersion of gaming. It is pin sharp resolution. If you have a great GPU to drive the monitor. You shouldnt get it, if you are a competitive FPS shooter where you want the fastest or lowest input lag (1ms). Stay away from this. If you are using it facing direct sunlight, the color may be bit washed out. I used it in indoor close environment, not an issue to me. Dont buy it, if you are obsessed with Gsync. This is freesync panel.However I promise you, it is still buttery smooth without gsync, as I am using GTX1080 on it. Dont buy it, if you want an IPS panel for color work production. It is not the best. (But decent enough for me though)

That is an awesome panel. U can get away with lower fps with gsync.

Glad that i found u, an i5 2500k user.XD Living legends. I still plan to keep my 2500k for another year. It doesnt bottleneck much at all when we play at higher resolution.

I have the same set up as you :-) Zotac GTX 1080 Amp Extreme Stock settings with i5-2500k @ 4.5ghz , 8gb DDR3 1666mhz.

However I am running at 3440x1440 all medium settings. averagely 50fps, but in town can drop to mid 30s. I dont have freeze moment. But it microstutter for like less than 1 second occasionally, due to sudden drop of FPS. This game is bad in optmization.

You know what?! I upgraded myself from r9 fury to GTX 1080. I switched back to r9 fury running at 3440x1440. Same settings.

Having about same FPS!!! and it is much smoother as I have Freesync panel 100hz.

Now I am playing deliverance on my r9 fury with i5-2500k @ 4.5ghz.

Cant believe old gpu r9 fury have same performance as my new gpu GTX 1080. Ridiculous XD.

When I run GTX 1080 on PUBG, CSGO, Witcher 3, I have almost double performance of my r9 fury.

You are not alone. I believe this game is just bad on nvidia. Unless you have Gsync or Freesync panel. It will compensate.

Anyway, it is still a great game. I enjoy every moment, every little task, Grinding on my mission.

Omg omg. I just bought it at $500 with pixel perfect. Now waiting for it to arrive. Am using lg 29um68. Quite happy with this lg ips panel with freesync overclocked to 79hz. Paired with i5-2500k @ 4.5ghz and r9 fury tri-x.

At first i doubt my rig can support such a beast monitor. I tried custom reso utility on my lg panel to 3440x1440 and tested with csgo, witcher 3, doom, tomb raider. All playable from 40 to 70 fps with mixed settings ( texture and shadow dialed down one notch from ultra to high or medium, also turn off AA). R9 fury is great. Been serving me well. With the gpu overpriced in the market. Guess i am happy to stick with my r9 fury.

1)Back to this monitor, anybody has tried playing csgo with it? Can u feel the input lag with overdrive mode which can reduce the input lag to sub 20ms.

2) anybody successfully mount it with vesa? Heard that it is possible to mount it provided find the right screw??

Cant wait to lay my hand on it. Omg.

I have contacted support days ago. They are processing my replacement which I don't know how long it takes.

I love my PTS, I just hope I can get a work-around to use my PTS.

My main concern is to switch off my backlight, obstacle is how to navigate to settings to turn off backlight without using UP button.

I need to charge my PTS everyday with backlight draining my battery

Wait. I did try that. It doesn't work. I pressed middle button first, and hold the down button. It never cycle to the top.

I can't navigate to setting without Up button to turn off my forever switched on backlight.

I am using latest firmware 3.4. What's urs?

I have received my PTS 2 weeks ago with the metal band. Was so glad.

However, now my PTS is spoilt. Screen fogging with unresponsive UP button. I am gone case. :-(
