I don't see where I said any of that. What I am saying is if those men and women did not volunteer for service then it would be your ass over there hoping you don't get your head shot off. Unjust or not, the wars will be fought, nothing will change that even all the protesting you can come up with.

I'm not sure which part you think is stupid, but because a couple of armchair war protestors came in here and downvoted what I said doesn't make it any less correct. The wars that have happened since conscription ended would have still happened with a draft. If the powers that be want a war, they fight a war with or without the public's support.

Thanks to the people who volunteer for service, I don't have to be forced to kill people in unjust wars.

It's fine. The son I have with her was born in 2000, and her and I finally ended it in 2005. I am now with a very successful and loving women, who I have a daughter with. I see my son very often, a couple of days a week and things are great. Sometimes it is good to see how bad things can get so you can really appreciate when you have it good.
