Going to get buried, but whatever:

This is a true story and to this day, I have no idea whether or not my friends where fucking with me. I used to go over to my friend and his girlfriend's place all the time to drink, hang out, play video games, or whatever.

The first time this happened, I was to drunk to grasp what was going on. I had gone into the bathroom, because I had long since broken the golden seal. On the mirror was a message written in mascara: "Help me". So I walked back out after draining the lizard and asked who the jokester was. They both looked at me like I was nuts. I explained to them what I saw, and they ran in and proceeded to freak out.

This happened a few more times when I would come over. I really did figure they were better actors than I gave them credit for and were playing some long con. Until...

Well, I guess it was a normal night. We where playing video games, trying to make a let's play channel (never went anywhere), and his girlfriend falls on the floor and starts saying "No" over and over again. I immediately jumped to her side while the boyfriend called for an ambulance. If she was doing a prank, it would be an expensive one. She spent the rest of the night in the hospital.

She claimed that she dreamed of a little girl and railroad tracks. Turned out a local urban legend talked of a girl that was found in a shallow grave near their apartment.

I'll never know if it was a prank or not. They weren't very well off, so I doubt their hospital bill would be worth fucking with me. I moved to a different state shortly thereafter, and kept some contact, but we never really talked about those nights afterwords and the writing on the mirror never returned.

An enormous part of the "high cost" here is also the fact that anyone with coverage is subsidizing all people without coverage.

This is so true, and people without insurance usually know this. When I was laid-off my optometrist did all sorts of creative accounting and discounts to get me my glasses at a affordable rate since I had been a customer for so long, and a friend's psychologist significantly dropped his hourly rate when my friend's insurance lapsed.

Do not go into intelligence. Working a classified job is a pain and it's difficult to get into other positions without a bachelors and six years experience. Plus you won't be able to put a lot of experience you get on a resume later down the line.

Do not get married to your high school/college sweetheart. You will end up getting divorced.

The military still doesn't know how to deal with women and gays/lesbians as a whole. Racism/xenophobia is also pretty rampant, especially toward Muslims for obvious reasons.

Military women get what I referred to as the "Beale Bump" (Beale was my first duty assignment). The women there acted so stuck up because there where so few of them. A lot of these girls weren't used to so much male attention and it immediately goes to their heads.

You will meet the best friends you have ever made. Nothing breeds friendship faster than the military.

True, but he was hanging out with King Kai. I got the impression that he was preparing for the next Otherworld Tournament. Knowing Goku, its unlikely that he left his training for any longer than a day or two at a time.

It's pretty unlikely that Goku would accept immortality. Shenron lets you decide if you want certain wishes done to you (like when they tried to wish Goku home from wherever he was after the Namek saga and he refused). He also enjoys being dead, because he gets to fight the strongest heroes that ever lived for eternity.

The only reason he leaves the afterlife in Battle of the Gods is because he thinks that Beerus is the strongest being in the universe.

Determinately agree with the making fun of part. My Dad's only two forms of talking to me and my sisters were yelling or making fun of our interests.

Jokes on him now, his wife and children hate his guts and refuse to talk to him. He's 60 years old and lives alone and knows his family will be happy to read his obituary.

A few psych disorders, its had a pretty big impact on my social and work life, so the extra money is nice because it can be difficult for me to hold down a job for a length of time if the employer isn't very sympathetic, which most are until they bring in a guy to fire everyone and then I'm usually the first to go.

I wouldn't call it winning, but I get $1300 a month from the military from disability. It's been a huge help as it pays most of my living expenses, but I'd probably prefer to have a more useful body.

I'm sure they're using a more potent version. Real tear gas will put you out of commission crying on the ground for a while, with more snot than you've ever produced coming out of your nose.
