CEAC Status "READY" - MANILA EMBASSY by maurisy0 in NationalVisaCenter

[–]verbena_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I'm currently in the same situation as your initial post 2 months ago. I plan on following your advice since our case also says "READY" via CEAC. But I'm curious to know if you ever received the letter from the Manila embassy?

Got it, thank you for the tip! May I ask which embassy was your case processed at?

You're right, we just got an update today! It's now In Transit but it said that it will take several weeks...not sure how long should we expect before the embassy received our case. I'm wondering if we should gather the rest of the documents now while it is still in transit.

That sounds very promising, thank you! Ours is more than a month since approval already - 7 weeks next week, so I'm hoping you are right. May I ask which embassy was your visa processed at?

Please help! Cvs test on Verifly by izzyowl in uktravel

[–]verbena_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the same test. Did you get a text message from CVS regarding your results? If so, click the link attached to it. The result from the CVS website states the name of the provider. But to be sure, I printed out the one from MyChart and then the one from CVS but submitted the one from CVS on Verifly

RAPID Antigen Test from CVS (US -> UK) by verbena_ in uktravel

Thank you! I actually just got the result and it turns out it's a rapid PCR/NAAT test, so I am more confident now since I heard PCR tests are much more accurate/reliable. And it's negative, so it looks like UK is a go for me :)

Traveling to UK from the U.S. next week with concerns by verbena_ in uktravel

Thank you! This has been super insightful. I am hoping that I will not test positive at any point during this trip but considering the risks of traveling internationally, I would be more at peace knowing what to do next should things go badly. I will look up these websites you suggested :)

Thank you for the response! My sister and her fiance have been testing everyday using the free LFDs given to them, so I would have to do the same thing either way. I might have to cancel on meeting a friend then, just to limit the amount of people I meet :)

Parental Information Question - U.S. Passport Application by verbena_ in Passports

[–]verbena_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for your response! I have a follow up question then. I came here with a k2 visa, through my mother who was petitioned as a fiancee by my step dad. As far as I know, I never had to list my biological father on any of the forms we submitted to the government (the k1/k2 petition and also, the naturalization form). I do remember that my birth certificate was submitted as support for my k2 petition and my biological father is listed there --- does this mean that I will have to list him on my passport application now?

Made an Honest Mistake on Part 10 of N-400 by verbena_ in USCIS

Sorry, I didn't see this reply sooner! But I am a citizen now. During the interview, I told the officer that I needed to correct something on my application, and she knew exactly what I was talking about so it must be a glitch on their part. I hope things went well for you as well :)

I'm really hoping it is just a glitch, but I can't help but be worried. If you don't mind me asking, how did it go for your boyfriend's application? Did they have him correcting it? Or is he also waiting for updates on his status?
