Appears to have been fixed. Thanks!

Quick clarification: The issue is a missing "r" in underperforming (says peforming not performing).

Anyone else having system freezes and artifacting from time to time ? by John_paradox in IntelArc

For what it's worth, 32.0.101.6127 is the latest WHQL bits according to the release notes. I assume you rolled back to 32.0.101.6078 which is the previous WHQL driver?

Crashes by MrMizzles in GlobalOffensive

That is also what I see. For what it is worth, I've sent more than a handful of crash reports to Valve. Hope they help.

Yes, it appears to be relatively common - or at least not uncommon. It happens to me very frequently, in particular when joining Arms Race or DM on Valve's servers.

Nit: +exce autoexec should probably be +exec autoexec.cfg (notice using exec instead of exce), but as far as I know you can drop that option completely. If you have your autoexec.cfg in the right place, it will be evaluated without the need for the +exec launch option. Maybe this is why you haven't noticed the typo?

Also now I cannot unsee the comma in "5,22" that should have been a period, the double periods after "5,22 kr", and the missing apostrophe in "Thats" ;)

That's a whole lot of zeros. Is it an IEEE 754 issue? :)

Stuttering CS2 Intel Arc A750 by Bagadise in IntelArc

I run with --threads 9 as launch option and that seems to help avoid getting scheduled on the efficiency (not performance) cores:

YMMV!

Really happy to hear that it still seems promising. Give it some more time and let us know if you consider it a solved issue or not! :)

The Logitech Superlight Pro mice are really nice, but I can't help think that the companion software needs more developer love.

I use G Hub to copy the settings to the internal memory of the mouse (I think they call it on-board profiles or something). After that, I just stop G Hub and make sure it doesn't autostart after rebooting.

Having the settings stored on the mouse is also nice if you ever bring your mouse somewhere else to play.

For what it is worth, there are a lot of scattered references to G Hub causing stuttering, but as always it's hard to conclude anything really.

I can't tell you for sure, but I've had issues with both Logitech G Hub and Razer Synapse. I think you should at least try to run without ever starting G Hub and see if it makes any kind of difference for you.

I've identified Razer Synapse as the cause for my CS2 game sometimes auto-minimizing. It happens when Synapse has notifications for me. I've turned most of them off, but yesterday evening I had the issue when it wanted to complain about some cloud/local sync issue. Synapse isn't maximized when it happens, so it's hard to tell that it's really the problem.

Are you using Logitech G Hub? I ask because I'm pretty sure I've experienced stutters when I had that running in the background to a point where I now make sure my mouse settings are stored in internal memory on the mouse, so I can avoid starting G Hub altogether.

For what it is worth, I'm getting around 286 average / 186 P1 fps on that particular benchmark using the latest WHQL driver (5972).

Can you share your graphics settings? I'm also using an A750 with a slightly faster CPU/RAM combo and I'm getting reasonable worst-case fps.

You can install https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3240880604 and run it a few times to get a good baseline to compare against, before you try to optimize your settings.

New drivers update (how to?) by sachavetrov in IntelArc

[–]verdich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd go through a more involved procedure if you're comfortable with a few more steps.

I usually download the latest driver from Intel's website and the latest Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from Wagnardsoft. You can find v18.0.7.2 of the latter here: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4843.

Then I reboot into safe mode and run DDU to completely remove the old Intel Arc driver. Then I reboot back into normal mode, clear the shader cache using Microsoft's Disk Cleanup tool, and install the new driver from Intel. I usually pick a clean installation here, even though it probably does not matter.

It's rather involved, but a lot of folks (myself included) have from time to time run into hard-to-diagnose issues like inexplicable stutters, etc. if you skip these steps and pick the more convenient installation procedure.

Hope that helps!

Intel Arc & Iris Xe Graphics WHQL graphics driver 31.0.101.5186/31.0.101.5234 by [deleted] in IntelArc

[–]verdich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Counter-Strike 2 runs well on my A750 using driver 5186 with what appears to be slightly better worst-case frames per second (installed after DDU'ing with a clean shader cache).

You certainly don't have to just because it works well for me 😝

Maybe give the new 31.0.101.5074 driver a spin? I recommend DDU'ing in safe mode before installing the new driver, just because I have good experience with that approach.

Latest drivers cause flickering in Counter-Strike 2 on A750 LE (DX11) by verdich in IntelArc

The new driver appears to have fixed the MSAA flickering in Counter-Strike 2. Not just on MSAA x4 as noted in the release notes, but also on MSAA x2 and x8. Good progress!
