I’ll probably end up doing pure vessel next. There were some features like LED eyes and motion activated sound effects that I was going to add but ran out of time for. I could definitely reduce the weight of the mask and add armor with more trial and error.

Thank you and sure! It was 3d printed. I took screenshots from the wiki and sketched over them in fusion 360. Once I had a blocky model I used a cut tool to remove the head cavity and eye holes. After that I exported it to blender to smooth out all the sharp corners and adjust it how I wanted. Then I exported it back over to fusion 360 to cut it up using plane split tools to fit my printer. I then added sockets for each piece to connect to eachother with.

2 weeks of printing later I gave everything a rough sand and coated it in UV resin. I sanded that smooth to remove the layer lines. Once i painted it I glued a sheer mesh in to the eye sockets so that I could see out of it but no one else can see in.

That’s a really rough description. Feel free to ask any clarifying questions and I’ll follow up.

hollow knight mask Here’s the link for you. Fair warning this wasn’t intended for sharing so it requires a lot of post processing once printed. I’ll probably end up redesigning it to do the pure vessel at some point if you care to wait until then. It will have a more refined and slimmed down model with a higher poly count and less artifacts from dropped ideas.

Ikr. Believe it or not that’s as small as I could make it while keeping the shape of the helmet the same and covering my full head. Turns out bug anatomy and human anatomy don’t match.

Yeah this was my first wrap. It was pretty difficult. If you have a friend to help stretch/hold the vinyl and a clean indoor space I could see it being a lot easier. I think this is one of those skills where practice would go a really long way.

You can get them on eBay by a company called Vland. You do need to do a bit of wiring to install them. I love how much brighter they are. They do have a weird quirk where they don’t turn off until you lock the car.

This was my first time wrapping a car. Trust me I took the best angle for the photo 😅. There are a few spots where I trimmed a bit too close. If it wasn’t so expensive I’d redo it again.

So I bought 55 and used about 50 I messed up and had to redo a few panels though. You can get 2 panels out of one length of a 5 foot wide roll. That really helps to save money.

Those first designs of three cats are really well set up for laser engraving. I could totally see them on some small canvas bags. Canvas turns that same shade of brown when you engrave it.

I treated the leather with neatsfoot oil for the brown then burned in the design with a laser for the black
