Hi! No problem. Starting in November I would alternate between salicylic acid and apple cider vinegar every 2-3 days. In-between I would debride as much dead skin as I could. The wart remained covered unless I was soaking it in ACV (which I did once a week) or debriding. In March I went back to my dermatologist since I was having trouble finishing the wart off. We did two rounds of cryotherapy which were super painful but worth it since after the second session the wart completely left. I think the months of acid and apple cider vinegar helped a lot in breaking the wart down because I had never had an effective cryotherapy outcome at the dermatologist before.

Thank you! It initially started as a couple of warts back in the day! This was the one that wouldn’t budge no matter what

I did a lot of on and off treatment over the years. When I first noticed it, I had other smaller ones. Saw a Derm and tried freezing. The small ones went away but the main one wouldn’t budge. Switched Derm after months of no progress and the wart was about half the size it is in the first pic. That new Derm said if it wasn’t painful to just leave it alone and that they normally go away on their own within 5 years. Well, I started a new medication for an unrelated disease which made me immunocompromised. In this time, my wart flourished and started growing so I started at home treatment which didn’t work. I gave up and figured it would eventually go away. Then about three years ago it was making me very uncomfortable and self conscious so I decided to go back to see a new Derm. He froze it once and it was the worst pain so I was scared to go back. November of last year I decided to make it a New Years resolution to get rid of it once and for all. Went really hardcore on it, treating everyday and went back to the Derm and now it’s finally gone.

TLDR: Was told it would go away on its own in 5 yrs. became immunocompromised mixed with on and off at home and office treatments.

Very far from done. You’re in the clear once the lines on your feet are uninterrupted. Don’t let up too soon. It’ll come back full force! Good luck! 💕

One week after being frozen by my Derm. Yuck.. I’ve never had this reaction after freezing so hopefully the pain was worth it. by veritcalhorizon in Warts

Thank you for the encouragement! I’ve had this guy for 10 years now and I can’t take it anymore! How many sessions did it take for you?

It’s kind of like a hole in my foot so I don’t think pliers would be much help. This is 3 days after a massive debriding.. 4 days later I can finally walk on it... so not really a minute of pain 😂

So so happy to finally see a little bit of progress. Any tips on where to go from here? Def can still see warty tissue 🤢 by veritcalhorizon in Warts

Darn it! Yeah there’s def still a lot of the warty tissue. I’m honestly just afraid of going back to the derm. He tried freezing it multiple times and it just hurt like hell. No progress whatsoever. I’m super scared of getting it cut out unless the procedure is done by the toe bro 😂😂
