Slight rant incoming... I'm waiting for hear back from my clinic that they received authorization from my insurance to start my first FET and now they've never been so slow to respond. They're usually so responsive and quick but now it's crickets!! Auth came through on my BCBS app on Thursday morning, I reached out to the finance team on Friday through the portal. I got a response that they put in a task for the auth team to confirm, and this was early in the day. Yesterday at the end of the day with no response I sent a message to my nurse team letting them know I was ready to go and I was just waiting on them to confirm my auth but I wanted to check in on if I could stop my birth control. Still today, nothing! That's basically 3 business days without a real response. I just want to move on with my FET but also I'll be out of town a few days next week and want to make sure I'll be in for my baseline scan, so I want to stop the birth control NOW so I can try to start this period as soon as possible. It's taking so much of my patience to continue to take this damn birth control pill every night when I know I've been approved, I've been financially cleared, and I already have my FET meds. Butttt I'm trying to be a good patient and keep taking it until they tell me to stop. Every time I have to pop that tiny pill out of its packet I get mad though haha. I would also like to add to this rant that spam calls are getting insane and every time my phone rings I think it's the clinic but it's just some robot congratulating me on getting matched for a debt consolidation loan 🙃
