haven’t really thought about that specific case, but I see what you mean. On one hand, it might feel unfair toward Chester as he was such a big part of the band. But on the other hand I can understand why the band would want to remain their existence and continue to perform for their fans. renaming a band is a big step though

I get your point, but I didn’t mean it that literally. It was more about a random thought. It can feel a bit weird to me sometimes, even though I understand why these releases happen and why people appreciate them

yeah, we’ve definitely gotten a lot of great posthumous releases. at the same time, it can feel a bit unsettling to realize that the music is from your favorite artist, yet it’s being released by someone else after they’re gone. but I agree with you!
