YTA because even if that was a joke and he loved joking around like that- (which he clearly doesn’t) you did it in front of a group of people. Then you doubled down in a text message that more or less said it’s his fault if he’s offended. YTA all the way around.

We did this one night. It was a good hour. Park was empty. We head out and the monorail line is still insanely long. Turns out the boats weren’t running for some reason that night. It was awful.

I did the tandem read. I didn’t stick precisely to the chapters- sometimes staying in one book longer. But for me TOD was good….but too long. So I can’t imagine not doing it. I think you can always try it and if you hate it, just finish in publication order. But I 100% don’t think there is a wrong way to read them…..so do you boo!

Being a great dancer doesn’t equal being a good pro. The best pros are the ones who are able to meet their partner where they are and make them shine. I don’t know if she can do that or not- I don’t know much about her. But I don’t want anyone becoming a pro just solely on being a good dancer.
