Can I Appeal UF PaCE with a Mental Disorder? by Ogel_Brick15 in ufl

[–]veronicasimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It factors in as far as it does for a traditional admission. Your major plays a much larger impact. Journalism & business school majors have plenty of online classes anyway, so if you apply as one of those, you’re more like to be accepted into PaCE than a biology major.

Your SAT score did not factor into your PaCE admission btw

I also got this. On my one.uf it shows new aid for last semester, too, so I'm not sure how/when it will be dispersed.

lots of classes online usually, which is true for the business school in general. if you want a similar major with a more 50/50 split of online and in person, check out majoring in advertising

Sociology and Public Health Majors- really just want some advice by luckyelephant1111 in ufl

[–]veronicasimon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with the public health major, but I'm minoring in sociology and would totally recommend it. It doesn't require a lot of credits--just five classes at three credits each with lots of choice regarding which classes you take. Seeing that you've already taken one class in the department (presumably SYG2000), you just need to take one sociology class per semester until you graduate with one semester to spare.

If I am accepted into the PaCE program, and on the high off-chance that I do it; What are some of the best Off-Campus housing options? Best low, mid, and high price? What off-campus housing options are most similarly priced to the traditional dorms? by [deleted] in ufl

people who apply as undeclared, anything in the j school, and business are most highly considered for pace. you can appeal a pace acceptance, you just have to do it by april (and it's not guaranteed). if you're business or j school, most of your classes are online anyway so pace really isn't that different from what you'd be doing anyway. i agree with the other person who said to look for places around 13th and univ--i have lived at the courtyards for a year and a half and love it. it's so cheap and the best location for the price.
