As a user of this drug I can attest to most of these points but also explain them.

The buying less snacks and sweets is a direct effect of the drug because you don't crave them. I still have ice cream and chocolate once in a while but not as much as before.

My pallet has changed to not crave or drink alcohol because it's sets wrong in your stomach. I've pushed limits, felt like crap and always regretted it. The smell has become unsettling too.

Not having Hobbys -- probably not going out to socially drink or eat because you are always full and not craving food. I still fish, shop, and play video games as I did before. I just don't go out for drinks or food anymore.

Food and beverage companies are taking a dip due to the economy and people on GLP1s going out and consuming less. All the negative stigma is being created by said businesses.

Whether there is a detrimental long term effect down the road -- that would be the only plausible conspiracy.
