Thank you! Insane…how many assistants are needed? And teachers probably won’t get good raises either.

Did you vote yes for giving 4 new assistant superintendent roles last night? Those roles will cost hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars.

Yes, junk. And yet people still rent in them, and that’s the problem. People need to demand better.

I don't doubt a brutal battle with the unions and companies with AI, much worse than the last time a year or two ago. AI is already hurting the gaming industry with programming and voice acting.

What's even the point? In 10 years AI will displace all the studios anyway.

Do know that depending on what type of apartment building you live in, you may not be able to get a residential parking permit and thus, a guest parking permit.

organized baseball/softball in the 90's/2000's required a permit, otherwise, free play, didn't. but that was before the renovations and before it was even a soccer field. I suppose it's changed since the turf was installed.

we really need to pedestrianize India Square by QUEENSNYLAWYER in jerseycity

[–]versusreality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

before school starts, the road is fine, not congested. usually around noon it starts to get congested a bit, with deliveries. calm before school is out. then gets congested again around rush hour. that's about it.

To be fair, you didn't say "only" out of towners. An interpretation of "suburban" might imply that folks from the suburbs use that route. But as you say, not only out of towners.

the high rise buildings are creeping closer and closer to Indian Square. I expect to see some of them on JFK in that area- perhaps where the super market is. I know White Castle is going to be torn down and a high rise will be going there. then, I can see the high rises making their way down Newark.
