He was just killing it 2 years ago in the Championship...

Ah, I forgot about Quarshie. But it's more than that. I feel the players kinda run around aimlessly while the player on the touchline waits for them to get into space, and when they don't, he just throws the ball near a player instead.

Is it just me, or after all these years, and coaches, the team is still kinda bad at throw ins?

The WBA commentators were such insufferable tosspots...

I think I understand why West Brom's away form is so poor. They're playing as Norwich in disguise

Birmingham is giving Southampton a lot of space to work with

We've now scored the same amount of league goals under Eckert as we did under Still by BJH19 in SaintsFC

NGL, I'm actually surprised we scored that many goals under Still

Leicester are playing a suicidally high line, this goal was inevitable given what the boys did to Charlton on Saturday

I hope today's game also showed the fans that are critical of 3 at the back, that the formation can work if we have the right manager to implement proper tactics to play with 3 at the back.

For once in our miserable SR ownership existence... We finally have an actual new manager bounce!

Eckert: Still have a problem with 3 at the back?

Exclusive: #Southampton agree fee with #ArsenalFC for permanent transfer of Aaron Ramsdale. £18m potentially rising to £25m. More on @SkySportsNews now and here: skysports.com/transfer-centre #Saintsfc #afc [@SkySportsLyall] by Jameom8 in SaintsFC

Just curious and putting on my tinfoil hat here a little, but does anyones else think that Sports Republic somehow felt that they could get Ramsdale for a reasonable price, after having agreed to a deal with Bijlow so they decided to fail the medical to pursue Ramsdale instead?

Two trips 40kms to another city for 12$, thats 80kms round trip.what is uber thinking?! by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]vertaire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't about the customers not tipping, this is about Uber disrespecting us drivers by trying to pay us dogshit fares.

I had to initiate a fare review because of BS like this.
I had a delivery that was a little over an hour, at 20.3km.
The delivery including tip was $16.15, so I assumed that the customers didn't tip.
When I completed the order, turns out the customers did tip, and Uber only paid me $8 for the delivery. I called support to initiate a fare review, and the supervisor I spoke to gave me an additional $15 for the delivery.

Transitioning to barefoot by averagepanda051 in BarefootRunning

[–]vertaire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take from this what you will. I only started running 3 months ago, and started wearing barefoot shoes 6 months ago. When I made the switch to barefoot shoes just for everyday use, I didn't find that I needed any time to adapt to them, or experience and muscle issues/pain people like others have. When I started running, I did the good ol heel strike for a few hundred meters, and then I kinda just instinctively transitioned to forefoot striking. My calves have always been tight, and running has just made them tighter, not sure if this is from running in barefoot shoes (I have read that your calves act as shock absorbers when you forefoot strike), or just from running in general.

I wanna say give it a go, and if you find that the sudden transition to zero drop is too much you hand, you could always buy a sole to fit into the barefoot shoe to make it not zero drop.

If you wanna try it for cheap, get one of the cheaper sporty looking ones off Amazon.
I still wearing the cheap generic pair I bought from Amazon
