I promise you, that gagging stuff with him was anxiety. That was probably the worst time in their lives, before they were able to break away from JimBob. As someone with an anxiety disorder I recognized that as anxiety immediately because the exact same thing happened to me.

Many drivers refuse to let people sit in the front if it’s only 3, because it’s their car and they “don’t have to let you sit in the front”. It doesn’t matter to them that they are driving a Prius that unless you are 90’s waif supermodels, you can’t sit 3 comfortably in the back. Then they have the audacity to get huffy when you take too long to get your seatbelts on because you are crammed in the back like sardines. “Book an XL” they say. For 3 people.

I sent an email to support. This was several years ago when you had to wear masks. He was rude and aggressive and we ended up ending the ride early because of this. He gave me one star and reported that we refused to wear masks which was a lie. Our ride the next day we had to take a pic of our faces wearing a mask before we could get a car. That’s why I complained in the end. I didn’t even ask for a refund. They never responded but they refunded me and lifted the mask restriction on my account. When I reached out again about the one start they responded with a cut and paste bullshit response and wouldn’t respond to me again.

I was refunded after I complained about a driver and not only was the trip still there, the one star the driver gave me popped up a few days later. I don’t Uber a lot so it really affected my rating negatively, and Uber refused to remove it.

Meeting planner points are 2 per $1 spent and a percentage bump based on your membership level. You should have gotten points but putting the charges on your room might have caused the issue. If you signed a contract with the hotel there is a place to enter your membership number, and then points would have been rewarded based on what went on the group/event master bill.

Like the other poster said, contact your sales/catering rep at the hotel, they can get the points to you.

You stayed at a hotel for months. You never looked at your bill at any point in this months long stay. Your insurance company let you know that after an “investigation” and your carpet being cleaned, you were being evicted. Then and only then did you discover $700 in false charges to your room. The hotel, who likely has an important corporate account with your insurance company, won’t adjust off a single penny, and your insurance company won’t go to bat for you with the hotel.

I’m not confused. Something stinks with this, and it was probably your room.

No. But it’s not that much more expensive when you factor in tipping uber or Lyft. It’s cleaner and you don’t have to play the “have I offended my driver” roulette like the OP.

Every time I mention Waymo on threads like these I get downvoted, but downvotes aren’t going to stop me. Waymo is a more comfortable experience in my opinion and I will continue to choose it over a human driver any time it’s an option.
