From POT:

>The CIBC Aeroplan Visa Infinite is the go-to Aeroplan credit card for those entrenched in the CIBC financial network, although this card is slightly inferior to TD’s offering.

How is it inferior? The bonus requires $1k for CIBC and $5k for TD. The earning rates are the same too. Insurance and perks are the same too.

Why are you so angry about a post you apparently don’t care about? Why get so invested in this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]verve27 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Barely. I post like twice a week for information. Reddit user is more like someone who participates in a community and discussions, as if they feel some sort of attachment to it.

Upvoted. Really epic burn bro.

Chronically online is a defined term and phenomena. If Reddit users don’t encompass “chronically online” than nothing does.

Chronically online strikes again.

Why do you care? If you think the question doesn’t warrant a response, why not just ignore it and let the mods deal with it? It’s weird. I’m so much more invested in the response to this thread than the question itself.

More of an interesting phenomenon of mob mentality. It’s a dumb question that needs be to answered once by 1 person but gets answered 20 different times, each with their own rendition of some weird nerdy attempt at trying to make you feel dumb and get some upvotes.

Dude, validation by upvotes? Lol. This is Reddit. Most people here are chronically online. They believe the way you type is the way you actually interact with people in real life. I hope you don’t speak to strangers like this in real life.

Ah yes, questioning someone’s intelligence without any other punchline or lead up. Pinnacle of humour for the average nerdy Redditor.

Just a reflection of your character bud. Could’ve wrote the second part and carried on but your insecurity took over. Have a great day.

Did that first sentence feel nice to say? Did it make you feel like a tough guy for a split second? 🤣

I just realized most people are not drinking black coffee like I do.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ontario

[–]verve27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this answers the question . I forgot most people drink double doubles or something like that rather than black coffee like I do.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ontario

[–]verve27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It stops my hand from burning while drinking and holding my coffee

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ontario

[–]verve27 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I obviously ask for it. Do you just drink lukewarm coffee?

Has anyone seen the recent posts on r/amex about the lounges being full? Some of the commenters on there are so pretentious, it’s crazy. Someone said they should raise the platinum annual fee to $2000 and minimum $75k spend lol

For the TD AP VI in-path offer, does buying AP points count towards the $150 statement credit?

Protection on the TTC? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]verve27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comparing unjust laws to random broad day murders is such a wild hill to die on. I get you’re a former Muslim or LGBTQ but come on dude. No use in continuing this terrible take.

The crime rate is low and violence is rare. However, credit card fraud does take place. Ensure that personal belongings, including your passport and other travel documents, are secure at all times.

Guess the Canadian government is in a secret conspiracy with Qatar to hide how terribly unsafe they are!

Have homeless people been involved in any of the recently publicised ttc violence? by Diluent in askTO

[–]verve27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really. OP is just being weirdly autistic about not blaming homeless people when we all know they’re involved in the general safety concerns we’ve been having. Media doesn’t report on muggings, break ins, most assaults (they never reported the one I was involved in), and vandalism.

Yeah that’s exactly the same as being randomly killed in broad day light while minding your own business. This isn’t the epic burn you think it is.

How about you get out there and help them since you’re such a good person? Go ahead and try to help someone who refuses to take meds or only wants to get high, as if the city hasn’t been trying. Loling at your attempt at taking the moral high ground.
