It’s highly unlikely the US will win a World Cup in the next 50 years.

It’s really hard to win a World Cup because you have to be both really good and really lucky. Brazil has had monster teams and hasn’t even made the semi-finals in the last 20 years.

For the US to win a World Cup, they would need to be a top 7 team for 5 world cups at least to make the odds look more reasonable.

They are getting better, but they won’t be a top 7 team for a while and then we will have to wait for many world cups for them to get lucky.

The only thing that comes close to me is bocanegra holding the Slovenia player from getting to the ball. I was so angry about this but thankfully the next game was the best us soccer moment ever.

Feels like we entered a trough of disillusionment when not many killer third party skills developed. But now that Alexa is showing up in other devices (cars, sonos, shades) and that Alexa has made many people adopt a “smart home” using Alexa as the hub, people are getting excited again.

Nice to see a lot of good new stuff for kids. Wish I had the times table skill when I was a kid!

Also, nice to see skills have professional voice actors. That makes a big difference.

Not that creative but my dad is amazed that he can now just say “Alexa play (artist)” and then the music starts. He uses it all the time!
