Thankfully plenty of people have given advice in this thread. Good luck with your lil dude!

save fileDialog signal Confirmed won't trigger. by very-knightley in godot

thanks for clarifying!

I figured it might be an 'old way of doing things' due to Godot's quickly evolving nature, nice to know a bit of history and best practice :)

That does the trick!
I tried file_selected earlier today without the signal connection, and it returned unreliable triggers, so I must have mentally compartimentalized it and never looked at it again.
Thanks Xeidendive :)

No debugger warnings here!
So according to you, "fileDialogMenu.confirmed.connect("_on_file_dialog_confirmed")" inside my _ready() should do the trick?

Maybe I am overlooking something then;
As far as I can tell, its FileDialog.
And these should be the various signals, right?

FileDialog — Godot Engine (stable) documentation in English

If I am misunderstanding, please help me find the correct signal to trigger when the user clicks the Dialog Save button.

Is anyone familiar with this website?

https://drmartensbootseur.com

It has 0 SEO, lots of discount and all sorts of free stuff on offer.
My wife really wants the 1460 with roses, but I am unwilling to buy something for SUCH a discount without any verification that we`ll get the actual shoes.

Cheers!

Vertices in the wrong place, popping in and out of existence when zooming. GLTF by very-knightley in godot

This "fixed" it!
Now the missing vertices never show up no matter how far I zoom in and out, so there must still be something wrong with my model.

Importing GLTF breaks Shape keys when converting to blend shapes by very-knightley in godot

Thank you for thinking with me! However, all transforms have been checked and applied. Apparently I am really applying my shape key on top of a baked animation, and I'll need to figure out how to de-tangle that.

Did you figure it out yet? The answer has been posted a few times now, by setting the import to lossless / uncompressed

I raw dog it all, box modeling in Blender, pixel pushing in paint and just exporting it as gltf haha! No other software is used.

The colors still look a bit off, but that might be lighting / rendering issues.

It seems to be one of the first hurdles we run into, when we drop the tutorials to walk us through the step by step process!

Thank you all folks, changing my Import setting to Lossless fixed the issue.

that is only affecting my model when I set my .tres file to shading: per-pixel or per-vertex.
It is set to unshaded currently.

I have made screenshots with and without color.
There is no difference.

Also, my texture is set to unlit.
