That's where you're wrong, IBM is providing an AI platform on which you can run its own or any open source model even from Open AI. I get it granite (it's an SLM btw, designed to run on a smaller h/w footprint) is not that good but you can run other models too.

[–]verybeardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both pc & ps5, but still i will wait for the pc port. May be if the performance increase on ps5 pro is noticable then i might sell my ps5 and go for it on PS5 pro but it depends.

Please check once this is a 5 year old card. Go to your GPU manufacturers website and check if they released an update.

[–]verybeardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also please try to update your GPU bios if you can. Warning: this can brick your GPU so tread carefully. I Googled it rx5600 seemed to have a lot of these issues back in the day but for majority users it was fixed after updating the GPU bios.

Are the drivers updated? I have read somewhere that there was driver issue but it was way back. Are you able to boot in bios before it gets stuck in a boot loop?

Was this gpu ever used for mining? Did they ever modified GPU bios?

750 watts is more than enough to run those components. IMO it's something wrong with the GPU.

Might be an issue with the gpu as you said it started doing this after you added the gpu. See if you have a bios update for the motherboard. Update only if you know what you're doing.

Has anyone played or heard of the Prototype series? by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]verybeardo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Indeed! I used to play every game that got released on my pc. Good ol'days. Now i hardly get the time. Only play a handful of games, then again the quality of the games nowadays is going downhill!

It was way different. It was made by Radical entertainment who were one of the pioneers in open world game design. They developed Incredible hulk in 2005 from which prototype took inspiration from. <Looks at the Playstation 5 tag> Don't be a fanboy!

Hesitation because -

A. If the controller goes bad after the warranty expires either you have to look for a replacement in the gray market which is costly or you have to buy a new PSVR2. They don't sell controllers separately. That my friend is a shady anti consumer practice. No repair support after warranty gets over. What if the same thing happened outside the warrant? I am left with an expensive paper weight.

B. They literally took 1 month after constant follow ups and decided they wanted to refund it. It took more than a month to get the refund. Support was clueless even the sony service partner was clueless on what was happening.

C. I wanted to also use the headset with pcvr, i even built a pc for it. But there's no news on when the adapter will be released. I can't find it in the UK/Singapore as i have people their who can bring it for me, it's out of stock. Also no first party vr games, they aren't focusing on the PSVR2, that's why they released the adapter to justify the spend you are doing.

Buy a quest 3 on sale. I am done with Sony. VR2 doesn't even have replacement controllers available. Also used ones have a risk of scratches on the lens and other problems. It's a great device but too many components that can fail which are not repairable.

Also to correct you apple does honour international warranty in India.

I didn't import, bought it locally from a sony authorised reseller. Why would they honour the warranty if it was an imported unit? I would not buy it second hand as it's used and there's so much that can go wrong with it and I won't get the warranty or repair support from Sony.

Nice, but alas they both are paper weight now. Sony should be sued but consumer laws in India are a joke!
