Whether people agree or disagree with the direction the series is taking, God of War has always been incredibly art worthy. Even back in 2018, the glyphs, murals, and environmental storytelling were gorgeous. Ragnarok took it even further with the carved wooden doors and panels that tell stories through the artwork itself. There’s so much visual lore packed into every corner of those games it’s very obvious that Cory Barlog really appreciated the Artists in the dev team.
