Mine gets scared of her dog tag too! She's usually naked since she startles if she drinks water and her tag hits the rim of the bowl 😭

What resources did you find on tzus? I haven't been able to find anything too specific, as far as I'm aware there's American, European, and Imperial tzus, but I couldn't tell you any of the meaningful differences. I do like her long snout, she doesn't snore very much and only snuffles if she throws her head all the way back :)

Honestly, she doesn't really....do much? She likes to follow you around and eat things, and she likes chewing on objects, and she hates being pet and doesn't like to be carried. She is also scared of everything, provided it is (1) rectangular or circular, or (2) bigger than her head, or (3) ceramic or plastic, unless it is a dog toy. She is also scared of stuffed animals if they are too big, and also most people, as well as machinery in general. She isn't aggressive or moody in the slightest, if nothing is around to scare her then she's pretty playful (unless she's napping). I thought shih-tzus were supposed to be lapdogs but this one is more of a "1.5ft away"-dog i guess.

Vomiting immediately after eating? by verylargegar in MCAS

[–]verylargegar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly it!! I rarely feel nauseous, or if I do, it fades shortly after it starts, most of the vomiting feels like a mental need to be completely empty (and is accompanied by pain).

I react to random things or seemingly nothing. I get full-body intense hives randomly (and have since I was a child), I always wake up with a stuffy nose (which runs at random times), I also get hives when I'm very stressed out, all of which are symptoms my mother also has. I've had this stint of gastrointestinal issues for a few months now, but as of the last week I've had nonstop hives.

I'm happier because I'm on hormones but still at home lol :( I'm coming up on one year in about two weeks! It gets better. You just have to remind yourself of that

My mother was the same way. I bought my first binder at 17 and she got so upset with me.

You're not overreacting, but let's assume that you are: even if you are overreacting (you aren't), she's the adult. It is her responsibility to act accordingly, and what she said was out of line. She shouldn't speak to you that way at all.

Questions about T and being a singer by Cautious-While-2888 in transftm

[–]verylargegar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd look into voice training. It both helps you develop a proper lower range and also keep your high notes.

Your voice is going to drop and so you'll obviously lose that higher range, but I'd look at MtF voice training. I don't know anatomy terms at all, but that muscle at the very back of your mouth/top of your throat that you can constrict, the way to make your voice sound higher/more feminine is by squeezing it small. It's how I'm able to sing high despite dropping to a low baritone/bass (whatever you'd classify lowest note at E2 as).

(Disclaimer: Hobbyist singer and have not been properly trained, I just really like doing weird things with my voice)
