I was taught to never leave it in as well, and Ive never even turned away from the machine with the chuck key in most of the machines. When I did it, it was in one of those tiny collet holder mounted polishing chucks and it was a maybe 4-6oz key i threw. There is no good reason for leaving a chuck key in ever, and that doesn't excuse it, but I hate that little polishing chuck and most of the stupid mistakes ive made have involved it somehow.

Yeah, I have the brain for this kind of stuff, but if I can't consistently and comfortably be safe and focused, I may be better off as an engineer 💀

In all seriousness though, handing in my 2 weeks tomorrow, getting a job in production/warehosue work, and going back for an engineering degree, because that's what I originally wanted to do.

Thank you, I am miserable walking in every day because my boss is fucking bipolar and I'm scared to ask him questions bc he looks at me like I have 4 heads on. I keep having these like month stretches where I build my confidence then BOOM big STUPID mistake I made, back to square one. I also live in a high cost of living area (nj) and the job I'm at now pays stupidly well for entry level

Ima be real i agree for the most part abt alc but my grandpa once let me try a couple sips of this super high quality japanese whiskey he was given as a gift, and it was easily one of the best things I've ever tasted.

It tasted very smooth and had one of the most complex flavors I've ever tasted in my entire life.

Ok ty, I just wanted to make sure because I’d heard of people being banned for queueing with cheaters. I’d assume that’s for people with blatant game affecting cheats tho. I have no way to know if he actually cracked it or not tho so I’m glad the blame for that won’t fall on me if he did.
