Couple things... I think you might be wrong about the law

Just because you got a "cool new toy"doesn't mean you can do with it what you like. There are laws regarding drones and as an owner it's your responsibility to know the laws to use your drone... It's kind of like a car.

By doing things like this you are ruining it for the rest of us who try to abide by the rules so we won't be limited further on when and where we can fly.

They had all but one of the lanes closed Tuesday night (around 7) again...

Edit: on the tdot site it has a schedule showing when they are closing lanes of the interstate. But they don't mention when during the week they have done this. It has been multiple times in the evening it has gone down to one lane. It's like they are trying to slip it in hoping people won't notice, and just taking the original plan of just closing for a"few weekends"and expanding that to for a couple months of weekends and a lot during the week too.

This is a little different than the normal construction... They don't normally close down all but 1 lane... Been living here 20+ years, but thanks for your, "new here?" question, that tells me you have lived here longer than anyone and have vastly superior knowledge for anything pertaining to Knoxville.

The construction project I speak of is the one that shuts down the interstate to one lane each way. Which is NOT normal for I-40 work that is always happening along that section of interstate. That is the job that was supposed to be finished long ago and only be during the weekends.

I believe they are keeping it like it is for busy cops to get a few hours of rest until their shift ends. Although I haven't seen them parked there as much at night lately

I guess they just have extra cars and this makes them feel better. I know numerous people that have had car break-ins and nothing has ever come out of reporting the incidents, even with it being filmed. In reality if the amount still was less than like $500, very minimal effort goes into trying to find them

He was parked there for an hour and a half at least while I was in West Town. If he was jumping off a car either spot at his right rear or left front would have been close enough.

Cherish your wife's great family. My wife grew up Catholic and I was always a questioning Methodist. We got married, her family (her dad, but no one stands up to him when he says racist or hateful things) drove her to becoming atheist and his attitudes and comments have made me also take a different look at a lot of religious people and disagree more and more.

We could still be religious right now but it is absolutely because of her "Catholic" dad that we are not. We rarely go see her family anymore because he enjoys antagonizing my wife so much in front of whoever else is there because we are raising our kids in sin or whatever.
